It’s been so long since I painted a self-portrait from real life, it felt like it was time to create one. I always struggle with getting the likeness right but I always learn a lot! Especially trying to get the colors and lighting right… so much harder than using photo reference. 

I made this cover SOOOOO long ago for Thermozero, the local fanzine, still one of my best works, I became cover artist for @marvel thanks to this one.
