“Oh, I know it wasn’t,” Kari sighed.

"Good." She sighed, relieved. Their brother had already pushed her buttons that morning. "So - Ryder get to you too?”

Erick looked at the girl confused and laughed. “Oh yeah, I do!” he smiled. “Always good to meet someone who watches me preform. Whats your name?” 

"Izzy." She extended her hand, smiling. "Are you ever there on Elkhorn weekends? Er, I guess they're all Elkhorn weekends for you - I mean weekends the school is allowed?"

“Imagine watching All Stars smash the Finches!” Xavier said, eyes wide. “We better smash it this year then, I want everyone on their A-game!” 

Izzy giggled, rolling her eyes playfully as he got all riled up. "I don't know if it's true, Scamander. But are you trying to say we're not always on our A game?"

“Well, the thing is, we’re done with quidditch, so that would be kind of hard,” Amy replied. “But I can sneak into a Horned Serpent Quodpot practice and sabotage it for him for ten bucks. You can come with me. See him all covered in that shit that it covers you in.”

"Bring a bludger. Hit him in the face." She laughed, swaying lightly. "It's not shit, it's ink." Izzy couldn't help herself, but went on quickly. "And that's totally the best deal I've ever made."

Dallas smiled. “Only if you can find a way to make sure she can’t trace it back to either of us.”

“Oh, please, you act like this is the first time I’ve done it.” Izzy laughed, waving off her concerns. “She definitely won’t know, I’ve got you covered.”

Charlie nodded in understanding. “Yeah, that makes sense.” She burst into laughter, “Oh please tell me that’s something you actually have? Because that’s gold.”

“Of course I do.” Izzy replied with a laugh, nodding. “He doesn’t know it though, so you have to stay quiet, okay? That’s my greatest weapon if he decides to get smart.”

“It’s Josie. In case you haven’t noticed, she doesn’t seem to like me very much.”

Izzy sighed, frowning. She’d noticed some, but she was rarely in the dorm for much longer than to sleep - she hadn’t realized it was that bad. “Do you want me to give her one of those Ton Tongue Toffees I was saving for Ryder?”

“Oh, come on. We’ll never get out of here with that attitude. Besides, Ryder would never let us live it down if they two of us together couldn’t find our way out of a stupid maze.”

“We’ll never get out of here. Like, period.” She insisted, frowning as she mentioned Ryder. “Fucking..... damn, you’re totally right. What a little .... alright, which way did we even come from?”

“You know he’d probably say the same thing about you.”

“Of course he would. But he would be wrong.”
