So I started dating again after a four year hiatus and me and my current boyfriend have been dating for 8ish months now. I thought I would compile a master list so you too can have some... Interesting date ideas:
Watching a drive-in movie in the bed of a pick-up truck on an air mattress followed by waffle house
Going to the local zoo
A Halloween party to meet his friends
Taking a tour of a local cave system
Sharing an entire pie in the cab of said pickup truck while watching netflix in a Walmart parking lot
Going to the local planetarium
Visit a gaming pub
Share an entire rotisserie chicken and eat with your fingers in the same truck cab as the pie followed immediately by aggressively making out
Stay the night at the home of the elderly couple he adopted cause the husband of that couple was having a dementia episode and we were worried he would hurt himself or his wife (they refused medical/police intervention so that's why we stayed)
Attend a local play
See the local car show and/or swap meet
Go to a state issued handgun carry permit class together
Try a local Korean restaurant
See a movie together
Get Mexican food followed by doing donuts in an icy parking lot
Take a 2 wheel drive truck on an off roading trail for jeeps and promptly get it stuck in a creek and have to be wenched out twice
There's probably more I can't remember and I'll probably update this whenever something new happens but feel free to do these dates yourselves or steal them for fic ideas

Everyone loves the cute little tooth fairy. You know the one that leaves little treats or money for the good boys and girls that politely leave their teeth under their pillows for her. No one ever talks about Carl the Harvester that tried to compete with her in the teeth collecting biz. His gifts of bloodied bird feathers and animal claws didn't go so well with his targeted demographic. But like all fae the compulsive need to collect his designated item drove him to more... niche methods of collecting. Hence he was shunned by fae kind but his dental practice in rural Montana was a hit with the locals. "Best dentist in all of Montana" they'd say though the dentist himself was extremely weird, especially since he kept all the teeth he removed. "It's new dental regulations, I must depose of them properly," Carl would say and they'd believe him (though Stephanie, the original town dentist, said he's full of shit but Carl was a much better dentist so the folks were more inclined to believe him over her). His collection was filled with broken and rotten teeth but they were his and his alone and he cherished each one. Him and the Tooth Fairy™ would fight over the children's teeth he had extracted early cause that's "her territory" but once she'd see the disastrous state the teeth were in she backed off. He hadn't been invited to a fae gathering for at least a decade now but he no longer minds especially since the food at the town fair was much more pleasant to the tongue and absolutely vile to the teeth. The rodeo always posed as an invaluable way to collect teeth as well plus it was fairly entertaining to watch the human try and tame the equines they call their own. Carl was... Satisfied. Yes, satisfied. And satisfied he shall remain till the towns folk realize he doesn't age then he might have to move. A Tomorrow Carl problem, Today Carl gets to finish pulling out the rest of Jeb's front tooth that his faithful mule kicked out.

being anti ai is making me feel like in going insane. "you asked for thoughts about your characters backstory and i put it into chat gpt for ideas". studies have proven its making people dumber. "i asked ai to generate this meal plan". its causing water shortages where its data centers are built. "ill generate some pictures for the dnd campaign". its spreading misinformation. "meta, generate an image of this guy doing something stupid". its trained off stolen images, writing, video, audio. "i was talking with my snapchat ai-" theres no way to verify what its doing with the information it collects. "youtube is impletmenting ai based age verification". my work has an entire graphics media department and has still put ai generated motivational posters up everywhere. ai playlists. ai facial verification. google ai microsoft ai meta ai snapchat ai. everyone treats it as a novelty. every treats it as a mandatory part of life. am i the only one who sees it? am i paranoid? am i going insane? jesus fucking christ. if i have to hear one more "well at least-" "but it does-" "but you can-" im about to lose it. i shouldnt have to jump through hoops to avoid the evil machine. have you no principles? no goddamn spine? am i the weird one here?

Replacing the caramel with cherry filled nougat gives you satisfaction of eating a cherry bonbon but with a little more crunch.
