honest to god funniest bit of writing in Destiny is having Variks speak Like That and then the moment other eliksni with speaking roles get introduced they all just talk normal-style. like they don't even click between statements or anything or break up their sentences weirdly they all just talk regular. and then eventually one of them (i think Spider?) just drops the fact that Variks can 100% speak normally too and he's doing that shit on purpose

Theres also that one part in the final mission of Beyond Light, where Variks drops it, to scream at Eramis and tell her she is being stupid.
