They kind of fulfill the twisted archetype of pokeymans protagonist (wanting to save 'mons), and a pokeymans rival (esp. Blue/Silver "asshole" types using their 'mon for personal goals before getting schooled by the e4 etc.). A's encounter with MX would be an endless rivalry until they're confronted with a common enemy (team rocket hoenn branch?) where they finally worked together.

MX would be that tsundere-ass rival who jumpscares A every time he reaches new location, but sometimes turns out he's busy hatching an egg on his bike at Mauville, grinding pokeblocks in lilycove, and teaches A. "Wait, you love pokemons but doesn't know about EVs, daycare and pokeblocks!?!?!?!?!?! Geez, let me teach you, and no it's not I care about you or anything >:(, it won't be proper rivalry if your team's underdeveloped from mine! hmpfh!!!!!"

Fast forward to present day, they're old, tired from the rivalry and finally got their ass handed by the newest generation. Realizing that they've became the villains they despised so much in their youth. They decided to start again together in the end, even if they're already old and wrinkly.

Sadly I'm not much a writer :( (and too busy to make a giant comic for it) so feel free to steal my idea like a pirate

I once made haru urara win 3rd place in URA scenario Arima Kinen before unity cup's release with the only thing close to "whale" is just a single MLB kitasan black (borrowed), the rest are pure SR cards and 1 uncapped super creek card.
