when will writers understand that if they don’t want people to see their characters as gay/bi they should simply not write homoerotic subtext or use romantic tropes as a joke for that particular gay ship in the show??????? making the character say “im not gay” and then expecting the audience to be like “well he just said he’s not gay that does it gotta invalidate every evidence saying otherwise brb” is downright stupid,,?

Despite the many different theories on methodology, I am just pleased that the majority of the fandom is now finally on board with believing none of Series 4 was real. Small victories. 

I’m still seeing tons of crazy theories and it just pains me to read them and their posts. No hate towards them at all, I am just truly sadddned by it. For myself, for them, for the fandom that was so let down. At what point will they give it up and accept it’s not happening? I don’t even come on here much anymore because it’s all just awfully sad.

This wasn’t meant to be a shit post. All those crazy theories? Hell yes, bring them on! When I say Series 4 wasn’t real, i literally mean Series 4 wasn’t real. It was in Sherlock’s mind (some people believe it was in John’s) and none of what we saw was real. To me, and many others like me, this makes complete sense within the narrative of the show. Many people think Mofftiss has jumped the shark (sharks!), but that’s just because they don’t understand what any of it means. Not shaming you or anyone else, but that is really whats happening. Just because you don’t understand something though, doesn’t make it wrong or bad. 

LOL I read your original post wrong. In my mind it read as "Episode 4 not being real" for some reason. I'm specifically talking about a secret 4th episode. This was just a misunderstanding... changes the context of my response entirely. I totally agree with you. You're preaching to the choir here. I do believe that Series 4 was fake. I've been tinhatting it and onboard with all these theories but NOT the ones about a secret episode anymore. I'm saying that I'm sad because people don't want to wait until a season 5 and they're going to be let down thinking another episode is coming soon. I'm not saying I don't understand, nor am I saying anything is wrong or bad. Just saddened were going to have to wait a while.

This is just getting ridiculous. The majority of these people don't even know what the dark web is or how to access it and that's what's stupid and dangerous. I can't believe this is where we are. Time to give it up guys. There's no 4th episode.
