I don't know how to feel about that
Jane Austen almost certainly never had sex with a man and may have instead engaged in âlesbian sexâ, according to a historian. Lucy Worsley, a BBC presenter, said the esteemed Georgian era novelist did not have heterosexual sex because of her place in Britainâs rigid class system. Writing in her new book Jane Austen at Home: A Biography, Worsley says: âPeople often long to know if the eternal spinster Jane Austen ever had sex with a man. The answer is almost certainly not."
'engaged in "lesbian sex"'

Honest question to myself : Do I even want another season?
i mean i'd love to make a ball out of mofftiss' new and complete failure and sit there drinking champagne while watching bbc doing CPR on the show. it could be fun :D and I do have a right to be that mean because we've been massively hurt and treated with disrespect constantly. same happened to the characters of the show btw. but... nah. martin and ben didn't deserve s5. with that level of writers self-awareness I don't want another season because it's gonna throw a shade on freebatch careers

JOHN HAMISH WATSON: THE IDEAL MAN. (#nsfw -ish? for sex fantasy bit)
A prequel to my âcourtroom sceneâ meta-videos - this is the one I was working on. Basically, I believe that through these MP women we are privy to Sherlockâs romantic thoughts for John. With that in mind, and in the spirit of spreading the John Watson love, hereâs what would be a comprehensive list of Johnâs positive character traits, explicitly verbalized throughout the series (not even Sherlockâs been given that many), which make him âThe Ideal Manâ in Sherlockâs eyes:
⥠The best man. ⥠The bravest and kindest and wisest human being. ⥠Has many fine qualities. ⥠Very loyal. ⥠Warm and constant friend. ⥠Very good Doctor, over-qualified. ⥠Brave Soldier, ⥠Strong moral principle. ⥠Crack shot, a fighter, nerves of steel. ⥠Has endured war, injury and tragic loss. ⥠A quaint, good man. ⥠On sparkling form. ⥠Nice-ish, clever, important to some people. ⥠Very romantic. ⥠Very charming. ⥠Listens. ⥠Is sweet. ⥠Has a lovely⌠*pointed look at Johnâs pelvis - cue sexual fantasy distraction* ⥠Has a lovely manner. ⥠Home-loving. ⥠Likes cuddling. ⥠Caring. ⥠Great boyfriend. ⥠Will do anything for Sherlock. ⥠Lovely husband, upright, honourable. ⥠Best parent in the World (Sherlock calls himself a âBabyâ, impying Johnâs his Daddy.) ⥠Great, amazing, fantastic. ⥠Has got a great singing voice. ⥠Can cook. ⥠Observant in ways Sherlock isnât. ⥠Pretty damned smart. ⥠Saves your life. ⥠Is Sherlockâs help-mate. ⥠Keeps Sherlock right.
This is what the title character thinks of John: the man he loves the most in all this World⌠UGH! ;)
NOTE: This is fun, but none of it is crack at all. So, hope you enjoy Sherlock scolding himself for wishing to compromise the integrity of Johnâs relationship with his fiancĂŠe as much as I do, because thatâs an actual interpretation of mine based on visual parallels. If you need me to explain, Iâll be happy to!

Something More About Mary
I didnât realize people would be so salty about my brief convo with Steven about Mary. I prefer Mary to be evil cuz I think itâs more logical and hella more interesting, but to me itâs their show, they do what they want. Anyways, hereâs the whole exchange while I remember it.
Me: do you think Mary was redeemed in the end, or was she still morally dubious?
Steven, surprised: well I donât think she was morally dubious at all!
Me: uhh she did shoot SherlockâŚ
S: but she did it nicely, it was surgical. She was stuck in a difficult situation. If Sherlock didnât mind it, why should we?
Me: so you think she was redeemed by her ending?
S, slightly frustrated with me: she didnât need redemption, itâs not a scorecard. She had such a tougher background, so her movement towards humanity means more than âŚSherlock is also, but heâs getting there, and John is solidly (for humanity, something like that I forget the wording, he rambled a bit, Mary took a bullet for Sherlock etc. )But sheâs dead now, and thereâs not a scorecard for that. Itâs not black and white.
Me: ok, thanks for your time.
Sigh.Â
Moffâs emotional intelligence, understanding of relationships, of the natural consequences of oneâs actions, and knowledge of the way to influence and impact your audience with your writing seems to be really low⌠I mean even Amanda was tweeting stuff like, âMary is a fucking psychopathâ. Granted Amanda says a lot of stuff on Twitter for strokes, but like I think itâs fair to say that even she thought Maryâs arch was either going to turn out a little differently than it did, and/or felt that some of Maryâs actions in TST qualified her for âfucking psychopathâ status. Also, if you set a character up to a) come between the protag and his love interest, and b) have them shoot the protag, and c) have that protag claw his way back to life just to save his love interest, and then d) have that character threaten to murder him again if he causes her to lose the man they both love, itâs only logical that an audience will assume that that character is meant to be viewed as villainous, or at the very least a clear danger and obstacle to your protagâs happiness and wellbeing. And yet Moffat seems incapable of comprehending this? The mind bogglesâŚ
âIf an abuse victim doesnât mind getting abused, why should we?â
âIf Sherlock has such a low self esteem that he is willing to be used as a doormat, why do we care?â
Is what I hear. Fcking just.
I am tired
wow. I'm really starting to dig the 'real mofftiss were abducted by aliens' conspiracy
