Touch-Starved Arsonist

Kind of a continuation of this comic!

North and Nova are two of five eternal beings who call themselves etoiles (they are not very imaginative and neither am I). In this comic, Nova, who is still relatively young, is trying to understand her place in the universe again. North, however, did not sign up to be her personal philosopher.

Toddriel is "too much blood", in the sense that he represents gratuitous destruction, which goes against everything North stands for as a lover of beautiful views. The Light Collector is currently sitting right beside the stone circle that surrounds the garden, biding their time until it all comes crumbling down and they finally taste the light of the house.

As for the house and the family well. I don't want to spell it all out, but a quick scroll through my "about the garden and the house and the family living in it" tag should help :)

Oh and also most of the characters in this comic are drawn in a different art style to represent what kind of life they lead; North is drawn in a minimalist style with contrasting colors because he's a very straightforward being, who lives for nothing but the journey. Nova starts the comic being drawn with more sketchy lines and finishes with more confident and clean lines because she has gained a new understanding of things. She's also drawn as if under purple nightlight, which could mean nothing.
