First a few things that have stayed the same pre.

Heterochromia, he's always had it

Wonky teeth with sharp canines

Rosacea and freckles

Now the post merge stuff.

My headcanon for Jays bad eye is that he has anisocoria.

Anisocoria is a condition of the eyes in which the pupils are unequal size. One of the pupils cannot contract anymore. It doesn't react to light or other influences. But the vision still remains.

The cause of anisocoria can vary, (e.g. stroke or aneurysms or migraines) but in Jays case its from his head injury and resulting damage during the merge.

The bad eye is very sensitive to light because it can't contract to it. Which often results in eye pain if Jay is in brighter locations. To avoid or aid against this he sometimes wears a stick on eye patch or just a regular patch. Both with fun designs sometimes.

I wanted to do a fun design and one inspired by the Skybound eyepatch so a simple version.

The others, especially Cole and Nya, tend to carry some of the sticker ones around with them. They pic up on his cues so quick. It confuses Jay on why they seem to know him so well even tho he knows nothing about them. But also it feels so nice to have someone be gentle with him like that.

The damage to the pupil can also cause blurred vision or double vision which then can lead to nausea etc.

It can cause headaches/migraines and even a fever at times. The migraines are very fun considering he already has weather migraines.

Additionally whenever Jay doesn't wear an eyepatch in too bright locations he starts getting floaters and flashes. Even when he closes his eyes.

Both Ms. Memes and I hc that the flashes are merge colours just to torture him.

In my design of him post merge he's got that big scar on his head. It reaches from his forehead all the way to the back middle of his head. He sometimes still tries to cover it with his hair. But mostly he was doing that during his Agent Walker era.

I have the hc that he jokes that he cracked his head open like an egg which makes the others want to strangle him. He also jokes about the brain damage obviously, it's still Jay after all.

The injury also caused some damage to nerves. Which is why one side of his facial features droops just a bit. He has less facial movement on that side.
