Opposite my beloved ❄️🔥

Her lore isn't 100% yet BUT she is an Oni (kinda?). Misty is made of the Oni fog from the Oni trilogy (which is where she's like.. born in a way).

When she was first made she was literally just a clump of sentient fog. She could move herself around, see things, think. But she was just the fog. She doesn't technically have parents because of the fact she's just fog. She ended up running around ninjago for years after her initial creation. She could never quite keep a solid form either so nobody could interact with her - physically or verbally, she couldn’t communicate. So her early years mostly consist of her running around a city absolutely terrified and trying to avoid all noise, which led her to the forest where she mostly hid with the animals but during her time in the forest she manages to figure out a solid form much easier (although occasionally becoming a more foggy form when spooked)

When the merge happens, she tries to hide behind a tree.. clearly that doesn’t work and she ends up in the land of lost things

It takes a while before she’s found but Geo is the one to find her. The first few times he comes across her she manages to scamper away until eventually he offers her food when they meet. She’s hesitant but ultimately she’s lured into the rookery because food is very limited on her own

She’s very jumpy for the first few weeks she spends there, there’s people and they’re all making noises at her which she doesn’t understand, occasionally running off but she’d always end up coming back. Eventually she got comfortable around them, not running off as much but clinging to Geo because he was the first person she decided to trust

She started copying things she heard or saw, not necessarily understanding it but doing it anyways - she’s basically got the cognitive skills of a baby because she’s never been taught anything and learning had been limited where she had been hiding. But Geo took this as a sign to try to teach her how to properly speak and understand things. She has a habit of repeating a singular phrase for weeks if she likes saying it -- Cole taught her to say “Ninja never quit” and it was the funniest thing ever for her to say and she wouldn’t stop for like 2 weeks

Meeting the ninja was a huge step for her. She was clinging to the finders for days until she got more used to their surroundings and the amount of people. Her favourite ninja (besides Cole) is Kai because he’s really warm

At her current age, Misty is only able to hold (on occasion, poor girl keeps losing her physical form) her current physical form, an Oni. That form comes naturally to her because she's literally made of the ONI fog

As she grows up, she kind of figures out she can meld her fog into other shapes. So in a way she still has the shape shifting capabilities of a normal Oni but she has to physically turn back into fog to change shape

Her other forms also have to maintain the same colour scheme as her. Because she's not a full Oni she can't blend in like one would if it changed its form. So if she were to be a deer or smth, she'd be a black deer with white markings and purple glowing eyes
