20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954)
'Odd Man Out' (dir. by Carol Reed) [1947]
You never think about older movies having bloopers.
Bloopers are a relatively new thing in media. during the Golden Age of Cinema they always wanted it all to look so perfect, to not take you out of the film by showing you it was all just a story with actors saying lines.
So this is great! Sound on.
The first bloopers I ever saw was at one of the very, very first Star Trek conventions in the mid 70s. There was a "blooper reel." No one knew what that meant. We all fucking fell in the aisles from laughing so damn hard. I mean, we'd never seen the characters or actors as anything but serious.
Oh, man, I found it on Youtube!

“i have of late lost all my mirth” should be a valid reason not to come in to work

Odd Man Out (1947)
Perhaps not the best Holmes/Watson pairing but certainly an extremely good one. I love the affection that is clearly displayed between two old friends. And the movie contains three of my all time favourite lines (two of them Watsons):
'Get down you pimp!'
'You've squashed my pea.'
“If I appear offensive...you can take it that I am offended!”.
