To all my horror girlies, gays, theys, and the people who don't give a fuck: how do YOU feel about the new Herbert West?
As far as I'm concerned, these remakes need to consider the fact that sometimes the actor is what makes the whole thing iconic. I suspect the new take will be devoid of the soul that made the original movie so great.
Plus, they're stripping us of our precious yaoi.
Anyway, I decided I had to try and give The Man the appreciation he is due. You can probably thank @faggottrocities for this. 😜
I had a hell of a time with this piece, some of which included scraping off like 3+ layers of oil pastel to try and salvage his skin tone. But in the end, I'm pretty pleased.
I know this started as a XVI blog, but I'm going to start sharing more of my art here since my primary blog is shadow banned. Sorry in advance 😂
