The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel is a book series written by Michael Scott about the journey of two children, Sophie and Josh, to prevent the destruction of the world as we know it at the hands of the dark elders while under the guidance of the legendary alchemyst Nicholas flamel. The series has six books and is often enjoyed by former fans of H*rry P*tter. You may have heard of a Nicholas Flamel before, the truth is that he was a real historical figure not invented by JKR. Nicholas isn't the only historical figure we encounter either. We also meet the likes of Billy the Kid and John Dee, the head astronomer under Elizabeth I.
