Lost Girl

“i could always show you around and help you get one if you’d like. i mean if you have the funds for it.”

“i watch people a lot so that’s how i know about them.” she admitted honestly.

“Okay never mind then” He muttered “No it wasn’t fun. I don’t see how you can see the fun in that. Am I boring? Oh come on, I’m not boring. I just find it difficult to sometimes know when you’re joking”

“i don’t think he was flirting with you, he just wanted to use your cell phone. most everybody has one.” she raised a brow and looked towards the other girl. “most places don’t have phones on the wall anymore, they’re all wireless.”

Mikey sat the counter of the dinner for a while now, with the black and white ultrasound sitting in front of him, he still had no idea what it was he was looking at. To him it just looked like a bunch of static and blurs. By now he was sure his coffee had gotten cold and it wasn’t till someone sat next him that he looked up.

“Hello hi..” Bella said nervously “Is it okay if I sit here?” She already had taken a seat beside the man before she asked “My favourite spot was taken and I have a hard time with changes” She rambled and set down the cup on the table.

“Well, I know some people like the iPhones, but I’d suggest going with an android for your first cell phone,” she admitted. Besides if you really wanted iTunes you could just get an iPod or iPad for that. “Although, I would probably suggest asking the people that work in the phone store the real questions. They’ll know more about it than I do.”

“games, music, reading. anything you can think or really.” 

“that is a lot. games and music sounds most interesting”

“What I meant is just don’t doubt me when it comes to alcohol.” He sighed before looking over the bottle. “I guess one glass won’t hurt.”

“I won’t then” She said. Bella wasn’t going to mention her age but would he care? She grabbed a glass and poured up the bourbon “No I don’t think so either. Although I prefer rum and coke”
