great thing about empires smp is that it’s literally pretending to be mermaids with your friends. everyone gets together and says “hey do you want to play barbie with me. what’s your character” and it’s like “oh i’m an immortal ocean queen that’s a mermaid but instead of a fish i’m a blue axolotl which is SUPER rare and i have a badass trident and also i’m married to my irl husband‘s character and i’m a goddess :)”
and “i’m an elven prince and i have to fight my brother who’s turned into a demon according to a prophecy and there are two gods a good one and an evil one and the good one choose me and the evil one choose my brother which is sad”
and “my character wants the demon brother carnally”
