Attention
If you need attention, just ask for it. It's really hard to ask for advice and attention sometimes but if you really need it, ask. Don't keep your feelings in and just wait for someone to ask if you're okay. Ask someone if you can have a chat to them. Talk about yourself but also ask how they're doing. Be aware that if they care about you, they'll show their compassion. Don't be subtle, tell people how you really feel. That's how you find your real friends. Just ask if you want help. Just ask for a chat if you're feeling down. Life has its up and downs and one thing that I've learnt from 2017 is that people will help you if you ask for it. People will give you their attention if you directly ask for. No more of this subtlety. Say what you need to say. Loud. And. Proud.
What do you want?
Think about what you want. Think about how you want to be seen. Think about what kind of person you want to be. This may involve a certain career goal. Start planning your life. If you really want this, youâll work for it. Start taking control and let the world know what you want. You have the power. Use it.

Talent
People are so freaking talented. Itâs so amazing seeing people do amazing things. Itâs the most beautiful thing seeing someone so happy because they are doing something they love. Whether itâs singing, dancing, cooking or even winning eating competitions, it makes me really happy when people are good at things. It reminds me that there is still faith in the world. There are scientists and doctors out there, with incredible talent, who are working so hard to make this world better for the rest of us. Please share your talents and use them for good rather than bad. :)
I was looking some scratches I had today because I didn't know where I got them from. But I didn't care. "Oh well, they'll heal," I remember saying. That got me thinking about a task a class of mine did with a teacher. The class was given a piece of paper and we had to scrunch the paper as tight as we could, and then we rubbed it in the dirt. We came back inside and sat down and the teacher asked us to return the paper the way it was given to us. No matter how hard we tried, no one could get the paper looking clean, crisp and white. The teacher then explained how the paper is like someone that has been bullied. I have remembered this and I have made sure I have never bullied anyone because I never want to see anyone this way. As I was looking at my scratches I remembered that they would heal and everything would return to normal and I would have clean, crisp, white skin, unlike the mistreated paper. I began to think, "Surely, if our body can heal and regenerate, then, surely, our brains can too." We can be healed because we are living organisms, unlike the piece of paper. That is what is so remarkable about being a living human being, no matter how many times you are knocked down, physically and mentally, you will be able to get back up. You might need a little help and that's okay, but I promise, with the right resources, you, as a living human being, will be able to heal. You might have scars but they won't hurt as much as they did when they were fresh wounds. Time can heal anything.
Drip
There is a drip on my wall and despite me being an individual that needs everything to be perfect, this drip of paint doesn't make me feel uncomfortable. This drip of paint is special because this is the drip of paint that got to stay whole and complete. It is unique and special. It stands out. It wasn't flattened together with the rest of the drips. It wasn't made to blend in and look perfect like the rest of the drips. This drip gets to be beautiful and unique. I hope to be like this drip, unique and independent. This drip makes happy :)
Itâd really suck if a serial killer comes into your home and you canât escape because your legs have fallen asleep.
Does anyone else find it really hard to call other people âfriendsâ? Like we know each other and we talk sometimes, but are we really that significant in each otherâs lives to be friends? idk weird.
