ATTENTION PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, I think i have it now and i appreciate it.
Iâve just made a bet against my Dad that if this post gets 2 million notes then i can get a Puppy. [like the one underneath]
I didnât realise how much 2 million was and i couldnât take that number down now. It should look like 2,000,000 in the notes bar.
Heâs convinced that this will never reach that number, and very confident about it so Letâs prove him wrong!! He thinks this will get about 25 notes beofre itâs left in the dust.
You donât have to do it for me. But for the point and to prove him wrong. He has to pay and everything so letâs make him suffer with it!!
Iâm counting on you!!!
Remember itâs 2,000,000!

Phoneme Chart by TheEndIsNearUs
This is a nice chart! Lipsync is one of my not-so-secret passions. I also hate front mouths. Theyâre harder to inbetween, I find, and theyâre not used nearly as frequently. Hereâs some ž mouths I made.
These are the basic shapes I was taught, and I use. Standard lipsync shapes;;Â
You have your closed mouth to open, to clenched teeth, to oohs, and your (often optional) F, L, and TH mouths.
Tips!
Your top teeth donât move; Â I mean, stylistically it happens sometimes (Gravity falls does it fairly well, as much as I haaaaate that), but your lipsync will prolly look better if they donât.
My clenched teeth (SH) mouth is always a bit wider than my biggest AH mouth. It adds variation and helps your shapes blend more nicely. Conversely, my biggest AH mouth is narrower than my SH mouth and my closed (M) mouth.
My L mouth is a tiny bit more closed than my biggest AH, and not as closed as my second biggest AH. It fits between them nicely so that if you have to go from an L to an AH mouth, like you would for the word âLikeâ or âLoveâ, it doesnât pop or look weird.
My R and oo mouths move forward on the face a bit, it adds dimension, and if you leave it all in the same place and have the mouth just shrink into a circle it miiiight look weird.
Aaaaand I think thatâs it?  Never go from a SH mouth to a TH mouth, itâll pop and look weirdâŚuhhh;  Also! Itâs alright to skip some shapes;; So below is a lipsync I made using the above shapes;
Itâs clear what theyâre saying, the mouth is moving nicely, but thereâs only one problem. Veeeery rarely do they give you enough time to use all the mouths you want to make it move nice. Voice actors talk fast to fit everything in and holycrap do we hate  love them for it.
So hereâs a fast one.
Those two gifs should start at the same time, and notice that the second one stops while the first one is still saying âdoingâ. I not only cut out the mouth between the biggest AH and the clenched teeth, but I combined the word âAre youâ into, like, 3 shapes. I also trimmed some inbetweens overall. The lipsync still reads, though! You can still tell what theyâre saying even without audio (which would help it a bit, haha~) Cutting out that stuff ended the lipsync a whole 14 frames sooner (more than half a second!). It doesnât sound like much, but with 24 frames per second and dialogue moving at the speed of light, you donât have time to dilly dally. This isnât a preschool show;; Aaaaaand I think thatâs it. Liiiipsyyyyyync~~~ Now to go back to actual work and stop talking about things most ppl donât care about;
I AM CRYING TEARS OF RELIEF BECAUSE I NEED THESE REFERENCES FOR MY SENIOR FILMâS DIALOGUE~
Reblogging this again because Iâve been using this reference for the last 2 months to help with my lip-synch in my film, and Iâve just tested one scene where I used the referenceâŚAnd my mouth-drawings have improved tenfold ever since.
To the OP who made this chartâŚI wish I could hug you right now because you helped make my film look much better. c8
This post makes its rounds every so often;; Iâm glad people are getting use out of me not wanting to do the actual work I had!

this is how i run in nightmares
Iâve never been able to describe what itâs like running in nightmares. This gif is a PERFECT representation!
This is too much adorableness <3<3<3
Iâll reblog this every time I see it, because thereâs something about burly beardy bikers giving help and companionship to a small hurt kitten that makes the world a little bit better.
June 12, 2016 marked the deadliest mass shooting in American history. It was at a gay bar, Pulse, and it was a hate crime. The shooter was an American citizen, targeting the LGBT+ population, who ended the lives of 49 people.
On this, the anniversary, please donât forget. Donât forget the 49 people who lost their lives, donât forget the reason the shooter carried out the crime, and donât forget that still, today, we arenât safe.
This is not normal.

waitâŚ.are any americans aware that the cia overthrew the democratically-elected premier of iran in 1953 because he wouldnât concede to western oil demandsâŚ.and how that coup was the reason for the shahâs return to power, the iranian revolution, and the resulting fundamentalist dictatorshipâŚ..like, america literally dissolved iranian democracy and no one knows about it???
No. No we donât know about it.Â
Americans arenât told this shit.Â
The only thing weâre taught about any Middle Eastern country in school is that 1) the region exists 2) itâs where The War is happening and 3) Muslim people live there. Thatâs it. Maybe if youâre lucky youâll get into the Hammurabi Code and some early Babylonian stuff but American schools seem to think that if it happened outside Europe and before the colonial period, or makes America look bad and isnât about A Very Watered Down Version of What Slavery Was, itâs not important.
Info on this is almost notoriously hard to find. Itâs not in any texts on American and Russian involvement in the Middle East during the Cold War that I can find. You have to specifically look for a book about the Shahâs return to power, and even then youâd be hard pressed to find a book like that at your local bookstore. Once you get into some higher level college courses you might know about it, but the people who can afford those are more likely to already be indoctrinated into a certain Way of Thinking (read: theyâre racist as shit) by the time they get there. And itâs almost like you have to know about it beforehand if you want to find information on it.
The only reason I knew about it is because thereâs a thirty second summary of the event in Persepolis. Those thirty seconds flipped my entire worldview.
âAll the Shahâs Menâ by Stephen Kinzer is a good, accessible text for people who want to know more about this.
I had to explain literally this to one of my co-workers, who is so fuckin racist against Middle Eastern people itâs insane.
Sheâs 60. She never heard of this.
As I was explaining this and how, during the Regan years, we funded Osama Bin Laden to fight against Russia, leading to the destruction of much of the infrastructure in the region, one of the plant workers came in to get his badge fixed.
He works in the quality control lab. He served 15 years active duty in the Army. Super smart guy, has a masters in chemistry and another masters in biology, raises saltwater fish in his spare time for sale, has the saltwater aquarium setup of the gods.  Raises rare corals too, some of which he donates to be used in re-seeding reefs around the world, but thatâs a side tangent.
And he listened for a minute, then nodded and said âYeah. I was there during that. I helped train people to fight. They wanted us to help them build schools and hospitals, after, but we were only interested in them as cannon fodder. Left the whole area in ruins. I wasnât surprised when they hated us for it later. Told people then it would happen. We let them know then that they were only valuable to America as expendable bodies. Why wouldnât they resent us for that?â
And she just looked floored.
âSoâŚâ She started, after a few minutes. âWhat do you think of Trump?â
âI hate him. Heâs a coward and heâs going to get good people killed.â He didnât even blink. â
She looked back and forth between us for a second, and then asked how I knew all this.
âI research things.â I said. âGoogle is great.â He nodded enthusiastically.
And she just sat there for a second and then said, really quietly, âI didnât know.â
She lived through it.
American schools donât teach you any of this sort of thing.
I thought of Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi too. Never underestimate the power of a good book.
Every year in my entire schooling in small town Indiana, weâd start the year studying the revolutionary war. By the end of the year we would reach world war 2. The next year, the cycle would repeat. Every year. Revolutionary war to world war 2. Rinse and repeat.
We never studied the Vietnam War. Korea. No current events. No ancient cultures. No history of other countries. When 9-11 happened I was in high school, and me and my classmates legitimately had no idea who would attack the U.S. or why. We were baffled. Because we were taught our entire lives that America is always the good guy.
History class in America is an utter joke.

⌠No oneâs gonna say anything about this legendary camerawork?
Why Winona Ryder Doesnât Regret Opening Up About Depression
Twenty years ago, mental health was a taboo topic. After all, opening up about mental illness is difficult enough for anyone, let alone an A-list actress launching a Hollywood career. Today, Ryder says sheâs glad that she was so up front about depression and anxiety.

mom!!!!!
I like Winona Ryder & I hate how little sheâs taken seriously bc of her mental illness when she was one of the first to open up about how toxic johnny depp was & how anti Semitic Mel Gibson was but pple literally called her cr*zy & threatened her career until she shut up.
@zeffsheart09 Lol. She is one of the first people to come in his defense and said he was so lovely and very caring to her, and that she canât even imagine how he can be abusive, but okayyyyy.
@lovingjdepp as Iâve said multiple times that wasnât in reference to him beating Amber heard but to her saying that he was too wild & destructive to be with when their relationship ended. I didnât know she had defended him at the time I wrote this MONTHS ago, but I addressed that too & you would know this if you had bothered to read anything before you tagged me for attention, but yeah âlolâ at the wife beater you named your blog after and a racist, anti Semitic wife beater that youâre cool with. Youâre either a child or a really horrible person. Text posts are free, you could easily support these garbage cans without dragging me into it.
winona rider didnât really defend Johnny Depp. She made a point of saying she was not calling Amber Heard a liar only that her experience with Johnny Depp differed and she was still wrapping her head round the whole situation. Â Clarifying that she was not abused by him isnât really defending him and I didnât interpret her statements as a defense.Â
