I'm Inconsistent! My art style, thoughts, even my identity is a bit inconsistent. I don't like limiting myself to a "brand" lol.

I mainly just wanna ramble about the way some fans reacted to the apparent lack of a "proper kiss scene" between our main protagonists. I've seen some fans go apeshit on tiktok over this. Fine I get it, people are suckers for a good romantic kiss that "establishes" the ship, me too. But for Aziraphale and Crowley, I think the kiss thing with the fingers was in character and I adore the subtlety of their connection. They're angels, people. Angels. Of course they wouldn't kiss the way we humans expect them to kiss! They're immortal beings with decades of baggage, they're not just going to make out sloppy with tongue before getting vacuumed to oblivion!

Aside from that, I think it's a good way to show that love doesn't have to be presented the way we expect it to be. And mmmmaybe I'm just projecting because I consider myself demisexual and demiromantic, but it's heavily implied that Aziraphale and Crowley are asexual too. So it's refreshing to see ace-coded characters on screen expressing their care and affection in a way that only they would understand, and it's always nice to have characters represent an underrepresented part of the queer community.

Whenever people think of asexual folks in relationships, there's often this default expectation to portray the relationship traditionally. But for many aspec individuals, love can be so much deeper and complex and I like that we get to see a portrayal of that in media with Aziraphale and Crowley.

Though, I respect how others feel about the ending. You're allowed to not be in favor of the way things ended. This is unfortunately how the show producers wanted it to be and regardless, I think the journey with Aziraphale and Crowley was truly... Ineffable.
