What he needs is the blood of a human, strong and fresh, young and vital, thick and rich with the pulse of life. Simply imagining it makes him salivate, and he brings his hand up to his mouth and worries the flesh of his thumb between his fangs to tamp down his urge. Because what he truly needs is-- From the corner of his eye, he sees Hamilton slide off his jacket and roll his shoulders, then start to open the button of his wrist cuff.
