Alright well, step 1: Most of my BroMom is from my AU. I went back and tagged my AU compliant posts with "CoParent AU".
I'll be talking mostly about that, but I'll try to touch on more canon based dynamic things so if you're bored of my original ideas you still have some reality to cling to. This AU didn't originally include the game since it tends to overlap into my dave/mom and rose/bro ideas. I figured it would get too complicated... but I break this rule from time to time. Since Dave and Rose are less than 13 years old when this story begins, they drop a lot of personal info in their pesterlogs. Bro reads through Dave's shit whenever he so pleases and happens across the following data: Lil Bro has a friend. The friend has a mom his own age. In his own time Bro uses all info provided by Rose to e-stalk his way into Mom's loving embrace.
I used to imagine Mom was Serious Business forum user 2busy4this but between recieving this ask and now Hussie has revealed all of the forum users... Ignore him or ignore me, you pick, but I like to pretend Bro found that profile first and followed Mom's digital high-heeled footprint back to her more identity-revealing socials.
Mom already knew who Bro was- vaguely... If the game exists she knows exactly who he is and plays dumb. If you're living in my fantasy world then she first only knows him by his online moniker limplegsakimbo or foamfriend or any of his other very unique sockpuppet handles.
She gets wasted in the evenings and scrolls his websites, possibly one of the only REAL users entering her credit card number. She leaves comments like "do a wizrd next!1!!" Which he obliges since he knows exactly who this woman is now and wants to bounce a coin off that ass, as they say on Plush Rump.
She is absolutely tickled when he posts her request. Disturbed, too, but it's ironic, isn't it? Mom wants to know more about the inner workings of this zany character.
The best way to do this is to push his limits... Send more requests... carelessly indulge...? Experiment, that's the word! It makes her feel alive. The weirder it gets, the more she wants to test this man. The man loves to be tested. Hell, he'd do anything to get his hands on someone as off colour as himself.
I think you get the idea... They (after some metaphorical games of online tag) become fast friends, acknowledge that they both have kids, these kids are friends, we could help each other out here... and decide to meet in the R.L (Real Life)
