everything’s coming up lucy

I live in Chicago and I am getting pretty worried about Lucy’s philharmonic orchestra concert on Sunday, because of the wildfire smoke… it is really terrible here and I think we may get another round of it blowing in on Saturday. :’(

Not sure if you’ve ever tried this but sometimes when my cat is being too rough with me I hiss at him lol. It works most of the time to get him to stop on the moment. Sometimes I’ll blow at him too and he gets annoyed and stops/walks away. Not a long term solution but helpful for me when he’s choosing violence

Have you heard about feliway plug ins? They give off pheromones that can help cats calm down.

I know you live in a studio so this would probably feel like overkill and be annoying but I've had cats be really weird/reactive and sometimes suddenly switch up about litter boxes, even solo cats. Maybe worth getting another one, changing its location, etc just in case your baby is grouchy about the bathroom situation lol. Seems minor to us but sometimes they can be touchy about random environment stuff like that!
