everything’s coming up lucy

The Chicago meteorologists are saying that the air quality will get to the “unhealthy for sensitive groups” level tomorrow from the smoke. Someone I know went to lolla when the air quality was like that, so they’ll probably be able to play. I am a sensitive individual so I will be masking, but I’m so excited to see Lucy!!

If the show has to be canceled/rescheduled I will actually die. Fuck climate change 😭

The smoke is super hard to forecast, but it looks like it may have the chance to move back in Saturday evening after the storms clear. It’s unlikely to be as bad as it was yesterday, but it’s difficult to know if it’ll happen and how bad it could be. Here’s to hoping it isn’t bad and the show can proceed as planned!

I was in the balcony at the Toronto show and it was my first time seeing her. She is such a great performer!! I don’t know what I was expecting but my goodness she was having such a great time with the crowd.

The smoke is moving east. Chicago’s air quality is still bad this morning, but it’s considerably better than it was yesterday. Areas like Philly, NYC, and DC are going to get smoked this weekend while Chicago, Michigan, and Ohio clear out by Saturday

I’ve been watching the forecasts, and it seems like they’re thinking the 19th should be ok. Today and tomorrow they’re predicting a few storm systems to move through which will push out the smoke and bring down the temp. Sunday evening looks to be good on all fronts, and then things get bad again next week for weather. I haven’t seen anything yet about the smoke risk for next week

I live in Chicago and I am getting pretty worried about Lucy’s philharmonic orchestra concert on Sunday, because of the wildfire smoke… it is really terrible here and I think we may get another round of it blowing in on Saturday. :’(
