you're still everything - the most lyrically deep song on the album, 'nothing matters but you' is her twin, i always give more love to people than i receive from them,

nothing at all - 'i'm afraid of getting better, i'm afraid it gets too good' MISS BEER WRITING A SONG ABOUT ME YET AGAIN

healthy habit - love the ad-libs (i think thats the right word) and the adventure time snippet (homesick flashbacks AND THATS MY FAV)

bad enough - obviously angelic vocals throughout the song, relatable because relationships usually aren't bad enough for me to leave

complexity - very danceable song, 'how can i expect you to love me when you don't even love yourself?' is how my head sounded when i was finally contemplating leaving my ex bsf,

for the night - was my least fav the first time i listened to the album, really love it now, quite simple sounding song, love the repeated lines in the pre-chorus

free - i took a video of my first time listening to the deluxe songs, and in that video during the lead up to the chorus i literally say 'is this song about org*sms?' and i think that sums it up, (so sexy i love it)

somehow i got lucky - sounds like me talking about my current friend group after having unhealthy friendships since i was a little girl

locket theme/locket theme extended - obviously amazing vocals, i love the message behind the song, lowkey makes me emotional bc i reminisce on madison's journey (parasocial final boss)

lovergirl - i love that this is the barricade walk song bc it changes the meaning from about a romantic relationship to about madison's relationship with her fans, love the backing vocals

bittersweet - LOVE the bridge, 'now i'm choosing me, it wasn't so easy', i love that it's the last song of the setlist with the confetti pop

angel wings - sounds the same throughout almost the whole song, i love the bridge backing vocals, i like how the end gives 'heartless' vibes

yes baby - this song makes me wanna power walk around my house while glaring at everyone, makes me feel so sexy (like madison in the music video RAHHHH)

make you mine - got SO overplayed when it released that it basically ruined the song for me, not only was i hearing it on my playlists, it was on my mum's, and the radio, and all over tiktok, and yes of course madison absolutely deserves the hype, i kind of got sick of the song, i love the wuhluhwuh music video tho, and obviously i loved jumping around to it when i heard it live

my ‘you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love’ ranking:

1. the cure - nobody’s love was the cure for my mental health problems, lyrics felt very OCD core in my opinion, wish it was the lead single

2. begged - it sounds like me trying to rationalise how my ex best friend treated me

3. less - cried my first time listening to it, and every time after that, including rn, ‘you’ve seen me truly happy so you know right now i’m not’

4. what’s wrong with me - chronic illness coded (i have ME/CFS), the doctor did in fact say i was fine when i was not in fact fine, i could not in fact eat or sleep, i don’t love the robert smith feature/his verse

5. stupid song - chorus is how i feel about my current friends, the beat motivates me to speed walk around my house (does that make sense?)

6. my way - sounds like how it felt to drop my ex bsf

7. drop dead - fun song and i love the bridge, just doesn’t feel very lyrically deep which is what i prefer

8. expectations - like the talking segments, again it feels like another fun dancey song, LOVE the robotic sounding ‘she’s got big expectations’ part

9. maggots for brains - chorus gets stuck in my head, idk why but i don’t like the ‘maggots for brains’ title, it kinda icks me out, and the lyrics are metaphor/simile heavy (not a lot of thought put in)

10. u + me = <3 - kind of gives bad 2000s rom com friends to lovers soundtrack vibe, don’t hate it but don’t love it, the talking sounds weird to me

11. honeybee - really cute love song, i’ve just always dated bad people and i can’t relate to the cutesiness

12. purple - forgettable to me, don’t like how it sounds, like how it’s about two people connecting

13. cigarette smoke - also forgettable to me, i like the ending though
