I should read my scriptures more often...

I am catching up with General Conference and just watched Elder Stevenson. I really liked his comparison with the lost luggage! And wow... never losing any luggage like that Japan Airport? That's true devotion!

Me: *listens to the first hymn and opening prayer* Okay that's a good start. Time for a snack break.

I shouldn't feel like this, but every time a woman is the last/main speaker on a sunday I get confused. My brain goes "what? She is the last? There is no man speaking after her??" It was not like that in my childhood! And I'm glad things changed. It really shouldn't feel this awkward.

It feels weird to still be watching the sunday meeting via zoom, while everyone else is already going back to church (most without mask) spreading Covid around. Like... Idk I wish I could be as carefree, but I really don't want to get Covid now. I got here without getting sick ever since the start of the pandemic. And I really enjoy not getting sick...

The church is telling members to get vaccinated against Covid now. So go get your vaccine!
