Leader / Benevolent 'God' = Bill-Lee. A Stanley with all the powers of a certain dream demon who has a strangle hold on this part of the multiverse. Something is happening behind the curtains...
Right-Hand Man / Attack Dog = Piranha. Unpredictable and unstable. A Stanley with a horrible past who enjoys nothing more than hunting Ford's down and killing them.
Left-Hand Man / Quiet Advisor = Andy Alcatraz. An older Stanley with a complicated history. Feels no pain and has expert knowledge of how to run a functioning mob.
The Funds / Fat Cat = Mac. Oldest Stanley who owns and runs Lottocron Nine casinos.
The Unhinged Duo = Starving Stan. Completely unhinged and inhuman due to trauma and being thrown away by his family. Behaves like a wounded wild dog.
Fortress Ford. Deranged and obsessive. Blames the world for losing his own Stan and crafts a twisted codependent relationship with Starving Stan. Only loosely associated with the League.
Minor Players = Cannibal Stan (Stannibal). Large alien version of Stanley that eats flesh. Happy to coast by as a lower level henchman to Bill-Lee.
Old Pirate Stan. Hands information over to the League in exchange for riches and supplies. Not inherently evil but will trick Stanford's into trusting him before turning them over to Bill-Lee.
Ztanley (Zombie Stanley). Convinced Bill-Lee to let him look after dead/ghost Stans. Has to feast on souls to keep himself 'alive'.

I just read my toy and wanted to let you know how much I love it. It was fantastic love me some stangst!
Ahh! Glad to hear you liked it anon! I had a good time with that one :) There might be an eventual follow up (more stangest lol) bc exploring Piranha Stan is just too fun
How’s Stanley life in Gravity Falls cause if you ask me… it’s a lot better than in Glass Shard Beach.
He could be best friends with Soos and Boyish Dan? Or those Teens from the past in summerween and the convincing (I forgot their names.) Toby Determined, hell even Preston or Ivan, too. He’s Gravity Falls newest Golden Boy.
They all know his situation back in New England, and when ford comes over for the summer. NONE OF THE OTHER TEENS CAN STAND HIS ASS!! Because of his treatment of Stanley and how he abandoned, one of greatest of guys they’ve ever met.
I wonder how all the teens think of Ford?
While I like the idea of charismatic Stan being friends with Gravity Falls folks, that's not how it goes in my au. He drifts in because he has nowhere else to go. He's at the end of his rope. No money, no food, no gas. He can't stomach resorting to selling himself again so he seeks out his distant Great Aunt Mabel in the hopes she won't mind him being such a burden until he gets some cash together.
Mabel is ecstatic to spend quality time with her nephew! And then she gets the call about housing Ford and it's like fate. She doesn't even need to dust off her match making skills! She tries encouraging Stan to go out and be social but he's paranoid and skittish around strangers due to the months on the street so she doesn't push too hard.
If he was more engaged and healthy at this point, I can totally see him becoming good friends with his peers. He's funny, loyal, and cunning. He has a cool accent and all these crazy roadtrip stories.
I don't think he would spill his guts about what happened with Ford, mostly bc he blames himself for all of it and sees himself as this horrible evil bad guy for the mistake that ruined Ford's life. But if he were a bit more open he'd probably just mention how he's the dumb/useless twin and his friends would connect the dots themselves. Ford would not make a good case for himself either, acting all uppity and above these backwater kids. So they definitely don't like him very much bc of his attitude.
What’re the early days of Ford’s time in Relativity Falls like and do the two of them sleep in the same room again?
Ford's early days of Gravity Falls are similar to Dipper's in canon. He's exploring the woods and recording his findings and trying to figure out who the mysterious author is! He ditches Grauntie Mabel's family bonding nights to write up college papers and such too. He doesn't want to waste a second "relaxing" like his parents (aka his Ma) had hoped he would on this trip. He wants to stay distracted from thinking about how rapidly his life is changing. He acts like Stan doesn't exist. Even while they're sharing a room (the attic like in the show bc it's fun and angsty).
Stan does much the same, more avoiding than pretending/cold shouldering. He sticks close to Grauntie Mabel, helping around the shack, dealing with customers, helping the other shack workers out (haven't decided who yet). He goes to the family bonding nights but spends most of them mopey and sad bc he thinks Ford isn't coming to them bc Stan is there. Not bc Ford is just being a teenage ass lol.
i GOTTA know, how does the bill bubbling go in this relativity falls au? im assuming its stan who gets bubbled but how do they convince him to leave? whats the theme/idea keeping him there in the first place?
*rubbing my hands together evilly* well you see....Stan is the one getting bubbled. I'm thinking he makes a more voluntary deal with Bill than what happened to Mabel in the show. Something like giving Bill the rift (unaware of what it is) in exchange for keeping his family safe/taking away the harm he's done to them. This boy's got trauma out the wazoo and no one to lean on. prime meat for a deceptive dream demon.
as opposed to canon, I think the whole family will go after him to recuse him (more like the big charge to rescue Ford in the show). But none of them are ready for what they have to face/how to convince Stan to leave the bubble. Stanley blames himself for everything that's gone wrong. He's ruined his brother's life. He almost killed Dipper and destroyed Mabel's 30yrs of hard work. He thinks the world would be a better place without him in it :(
his bubble (at least at this point in my mind) is startlingly realistic and normal. with the exception that no one mentions Stan. Stan is nowhere to be seen. People are happy. His dream family is happy. It's gets kind of disturbing how cheery and upbeat everyone is while the real fam freaks out trying to find Stan. Bubble Fam doesn't understand why anyone would want Stanley back. the only way to get him out/burst the bubble is to convince Stan that he is wanted. that he is loved. and they've got a pretty steep uphill battle there.

Is Ford gonna be a pretty angry and petty dick to Lee or are they gonna reconcile earlier than the original?
They don't really reconcile until Oddpocylpse and Bill's Bubble (haven't decided if it should be Stan Cove or Stan Island or something else vaguely beach/ocean themed). Ford remains petty but at least starts interacting with his twin after the portal incident. Stanley had to 'earn' Ford's attention. Ford is satisfied with these small conversations and time while Stan is agonizing over them because he wants his brother back, not this olive branch take-what-you-get-and-be-grateful-he's-talking-to-you-at-all deal.
I wonder how Stanford, feels after the Portal Fiasco and he feels about being wrong. Does he feel bad that Stanley only did to placate him to not make him even more angry at him than he already is?
And how doe he feel about meeting the author of the Journals?
Ford does feel a bit bad about his venom and disbelief of Grauntie Mabel. She was doing all of this for her twin. She went to such great lengths to right her mistakes Ford can't be upset with her. She dedicated her whole life to this. He guiltily dots on her and goes along with some of her crazy plots around the Mystery Shack in attempts to make up his disrespect.
Stanley on the other hand....Ford sees his brother's actions as a step in the right direction. Stan is deferring to him when making choices and that's how it should be. Stan needs to listen to Ford or he'll just screw everything up again. Stan obviously can't be trusted to do things on his own.
So their interactions thaw out a bit but Ford still keeps his distance. In his mind they don't exactly have to reconcile right now. He'll get to go off to college at the end of the summer. Stan doesn't factor into that. Ford doesn't want to try to find space for him. After he's done everything he's wanted to, then maybe, just maybe he could spare some time and effort to repairing their relationship. He thinks Stan is on the same page.
He's wrong but that's plot for another time lol.
Ford is over the moon with getting to meet the author! They're so alike. It feels like he's found the only person in the world who gets him. Sure, sometimes Great Uncle Dipper and Grauntie Mabel's hesitant reconnecting feels awkward with everything Ford is dealing with with his own twin, but he gladly follows Dipper around to learn everything he can from the man.
Similar to canon-verse, Dipper isn't mad at Ford for trying to turn the portal off. He tells Ford he would have made the same call. That the world is more important than a single life despite it being his own. Ford jumps on the hero-worship train with that and strives to be a selfless scientist like his great uncle.
I have a vague drabble idea of just Ford gushing over the author to a silent Stan and the two of them dissolving into an argument over the whole thing. Stan stays away from Dipper and is steadily isolating himself from the family post-portal incident out of guilt, fear, and self-loathing.
Feel like I blabbed a lot here lol. But good to get this idea out of my head. Thank you for the ask :)
(Stan and Ford have already had their fallout over the science fair project and both individually ended up with Graunkie Mabel in Gravity Falls for the summer)
Mabel gets the portal to work and things happen similar to cannon. Stan gets caught and is by the button. Ford screaming at him to push it. Of course he's conflicted bc Mabel has been the only family who cares abt him now. Stan's not sure he could survive Ford's quiet anger anymore than he is now. So he pushes the button.
Except it doesn't work. The portal still opens, Dipper still comes through.
Stan has to deal with the fact that he almost stranded his great uncle in the multiverse just bc he didn't want Ford mad at him. Not bc he didn't trust Mabel or what she was doing. But bc he was so tired of his brother hating him. He almost ruined everything again.
This will in no way will affect how Bill gets the rift whatsoever.... >:)
Can you tell us PiranhĂŁ's backstory? What was his life like before the multiverse? What was his childhood and adolescence like on Glass Shard Beach? What was his time on the streets like for over 10 years? What was his relationship with his family like? How was PiranhĂŁ relationship with his mom? How was PiranhĂŁ relationship with his dad? How was PiranhĂŁ relationship with his twin? Shermie is an older brother or The Baby in PiranhĂŁ's universe? If he was older, how was his relationship with PiranhĂŁ? If he was The Baby, did he even know that PiranhĂŁ existed?
hi!!! yes!!! thank you for asking!!! Piranha isn't a huge part of the APTTW story I'm (slowly lol) working on so I'm more than happy to gush about him here :)
I WILL BE DISCUSSING TOPICS OF CSA, CHILD ABUSE, VICTIM BLAMING, AND LASTING EFFECTS OF ABUSE. Feel free to skip reading this if any of those topics are harmful to you.
His backstory borrows a lot from the original artist who created this idea of evil stan (Piranha Pines specifically) - Fildick AU on ao3 but fair warning that it handles very dark themes and content. PLEASE read all the trigger warnings before engaging with it!
I will be diverging on certain aspects of the original idea but most of the base themes are the same. My Piranha and Ford counter part get stuck in this victim blaming mentality that ultimately destroys them.
Most of the childhood abuse is going to be lightly touched on, nothing specifically stated, in regards to how I write Piranha because there is a thread of uncertainty surrounding his memories and how his rage and resentment has warped even his positive experiences. He's an unreliable narrator because he jumps to extremes no matter the situation. I also don't want to write detailed scenes of abuse or sexual assault! APTTW is a story about brotherly bonds and how different/difficult they can be. Yes, dark topics will be included but nothing concrete or upsetting (I hope).
To get back to your more focused questions, his childhood in glass shard was not pleasant! the moments with his mother and playing with Ford on the beach are the only shimmers of positivity that Piranha can vaguely recall. Everything else gets overshadowed by how Filbrick abused them. I diverge from the original inspiration here and have Filbrick be physically abuse towards Stan and sexually abusive toward Ford.
It adds another element of Stan resenting his twin. For some reason Filbrick is seeing them differently and choosing to be 'affectionate' with Ford and not him. Which circles into an endless victim blaming cycle Piranha will often go into. He is furious that his brother is 'choosing' their father over him. He is upset that he doesn't have whatever his twin does that makes him 'desirable'.
For the Shermie questions...he's not a huge part of Piranha's story, to the point that Piranha himself forgets he has another brother. I'm thinking Shermie will have been older. He suffered similar abuse Ford is going through and that's why he was so desperate to leave NJ and cut contact with the family. Of course there's an undercurrent of guilt because on some level he is aware that Filbrick won't stop at abusing one child of his, but there's also the fear that if he spoke up no one would believe him. Caryn is aware that her husband is a piece of shit child molester but she's too afraid of his authority to do anything to stop him or speak up. So that adds another factor to Shermie staying silent. He's following his mothers lead to keep himself and his own growing family safe.
Piranha loves his mom. Or at least he thinks he does. Any memory of her is blurred and hard to work out. She died shortly after the twins grew into teens. Anything left of her memory gets distorted by all the trauma Stan goes through. Sometimes he wants to hate her for leaving them with a monster. He wants to blame her for Ford 'choosing' Filbirck over their bond. But he can't because she's not around. She's more akin to a ghost to Piranha. She had to have been here once but she couldn't have been important if she also 'choose' to abandon him. I like to believe that all Stanley's are mama's boys but with Piranha he just has a hard time seeing her as a parent and not a pillar of good that has betrayed him. He's not completely aware that she knew about the abuse. Some part of him insist that she had to have known but the larger part of himself doesn't want to taint what little happy memories he has left so he forces himself to live in ignorance of her part in Filbrick's horrible actions.
He's a contradictory asshole who cherrypicks which moments of his life were 'good' and 'bad' most of the time with disregard to the actual context of the events. And even those are constantly changing! Piranha's mind is a whirlpool of hate and rage and thirst for power and violence. Which he does in up finding in his relationship with Bill-Lee!
In Piranha's drifter days, he furiously sought after powerful groups and integrated himself in them. He yearns to be useful, to be the desired tool. He knows he can't function on his own so he finds the top dog and works hard to become their lap/guard dog/right hand man. In his mind, if he's useful and wanted, then bad things can't happen to him. His bosses will have no reason to hit and hurt him if he is 'good'. Which is another thing he diminishes about Ford's own abuse. Ford is the 'good' twin and therefore his punishments aren't him getting beaten or physically tortured. No, Ford is special to their father and gets treated like he is something to be attained, that he has value Stan does not. This of course isn't any of Ford's fault but Piranha isn't able to understand that. He just sees their father favoring and being 'kind' to Ford and not him. So he chases the title of 'good' in the hopes he will get the same (and what he thinks is preferable) treatment.
Piranha is more or less an assassin for hire. He'll do any odd job given to him as long as he's getting paid or being praised. He grows to enjoy killing, taking power away from someone else instead of having it be taken from him. He enjoys treating people the way he was treated as a child. Murder and crime is easy for him to do and puts him in the good graces of very powerful people. Though he does make mistakes, kills someone he shouldn't just because he wanted to, and makes equally powerful enemies. There's a point where he tries to create his own gang but fails spectacularly when they all band together to try and take him down. This teaches Piranha that he isn't meant to be a leader. He doesn't last very long as a lone wolf either. He craves attention and love he thought his twin was getting instead of him. So he repeatedly seeks out crime syndicates he can impress and worm his way into. He also does everything in his power to not think about the past, to hyper focus on what's happening to him in the present, which is also why his memory is so fuzzy. He spends so long running from any self-reflection that he simply isn't capable of it anymore.
I think I blabbed enough for you to get the gist of his history anon! Thanks again for asking about one of my favorite evil stans :) There's still a load I didn't touch on here but if there's more asks in the future maybe I'll get to expand on that.
Summary: Stan can’t help the happy noises that escape from his chest as he chows down. The food tastes like heaven. Wet and meaty and filling. Nothing like he’s had before but still better than anything he’s tried to scrounge out of dumpsters.
Tate giggles and lightly trails his hand over Stan’s vibrating side. “Mama, what’s he doin’?”
“It’s something they do when they’re happy,” Mom explains, gently guiding Tate’s palm to Stan’s side. It’s uncomfortable but the food flavor exploding on his tongue keeps the rumbles going. “It’s called purring.”
Which is something Stan can do now, since, oh yeah, he’s a cat.

“No, Tater. He needs a bath before he spends the night in your bed. He’s all dirty.”
Tate sits up and puts his hands over Stan’s clinging paws. “But he’s just lonely! And – And I’ll wash my sheets so he can stay! Pleaseee?”
The kid pulls off puppy dog eyes way better than Stan can. Or he’s guessing so since he can’t see the boy’s eyes. Emma-May sighs but reaches out to lift Stan up onto the bed by his scruff. Stan takes full advantage and shoots up to be by Tate’s side and away from her judgy statements.
So what if he’s dirty? A little grime never hurt anyone. Probably. Dirt is good for kids. Builds immunity. At least that’s what Stan used to try and pedal to his Ma. He’s not sure she bought it though.Â
“What do you think of keeping kitty?” Emma-May questions softly, drawing the covers over her son’s legs.Â
Tate wiggles down into them comfortably. He beams at her with a wide smile. “Can we?” She nods and he gives an audible happy noise, hands coming up to pet down Stan’s sides.Â
Yeah, yeah. I’m stayin’ for a bit. Don’t get too excited. Stan tells the kid. I’m leavin’ once your Ma’s got a handle on everything.
“Good point kitty.” Emma-May wraps an arm around Tate and also offers her fingers for Stan to sniff and eventually rubs against. “If he’s staying with us, he’ll need a name.”
“BARNEY!” Tate blurts and Stan’s ear press flat to his head at the shout.Â

Another sneaky peeky. Chapter Two to be posted sometime mid week :)
Tate excitedly holds up a drawing of a bushy haired boy and a brown blob that must be a cat. The crayon reedition of them is child-like and out of proportion. Stan’s cat body is the same size as Tate, who's head is drawn three times the size of his own body. Despite its flaws, it makes something swell in Stan’s chest.Â
His eyes water even though he’s incapable of crying. You drew…us?
The boy puffs his chest out and smiles, confident and proud. “I drew you good, Mystery! Look,” He points to carefully scribbled pink dots near the bottom of the page. “I made sure to get all your toes!”
If Stan felt like crying before now he wants to flood the room with waterfalls. The kid had painstakingly drawn out each of Stan’s twelve toes. It’s poetically sweet.Â
Stan always made sure to draw Ford’s six fingers whenever he drew him. It was an important detail. Stan himself in those drawings were always wearing shoes or something, so he didn’t have to worry about putting that much effort into drawing himself. A circle with brown hair and a big nose wearing a striped shirt, that was Stan. Who cares about six toes if you could never see them?
Yet Tate had drawn him perfectly. Even the grumpy frown on the cat’s expression matched his reluctantly amused tone he often took with the boy. Everything about him is displayed happily on the drawing. Tate liked his snippiness. Tate liked his weird feet. Tate liked him.
It’s really good, Stan chokes out and blinks to get rid of the feeling of his eyes welling. A modern Picasso. Put that masterpiece on the fridge.
Tate beams at him. “I knew you’d like it! Let’s show mama!”
Not exactly happy with it but I need to learn to let ideas go instead of obsessing over them for weeks to months lol. I do plan on posting more, probably sporadically. I've got like five on-going fics right now. Grooooaaannn.

A Cat!Stan AND Six Toed!Stan au I've been farting around with. Here's a sneaky peeky! (554 words) <3
“Wait a moment,” Ford pinches his hind leg between two fingers and gently extends it out. Stan obediently splays his toes. “Your cat has polydactyl.”
Fiddleford glances over from his spot on the porch where he's tuning his banjo. “I already told yah, he ain’t my cat.”
“Yes, yes.” Ford mumbles, distracted by squishing Stan’s toe beans with reverence. “It’s incredibly rare for a feline to only develop polydactyl on its hind legs.”
Funny how being a cat suddenly make his feet special. Stan growls and jerks his leg out of his brother’s grasp. Ford shoots him an offended pout before probing his toes with the end of his chewed-up pen. Gross. Stan kicks at it half heartly in warning.
Six toes on each foot hadn’t been all that spectacular when he was human. It wasn’t as obvious or as life changing as six fingered Stanford. Feet could be hidden with socks and shoes, but fingers? Eh, not so much.Â
Sure, most of Stan’s footwear would rub up against his wider than average bridge and leave raw, red, and sometimes bleeding marks on his extra toes. Sure, most of Stan’s life he’s had to deal with walking with a slight limp to try and alleviate that uncomfortable pressure. Sure, Stan’s gait was something people made fun of him for until he learned how to throw a punch and pretend words didn’t bother him.Â
Six toes weren’t even close to the weirdness of six fingers.
As a cat all those things went away. No more awful shoes that didn’t fit. No more forcing himself to walk on the inside of his feet to avoid a majority of his pain. No more mocking or harshly spit words. Cats were commonly known to have polydactyl so even those extra digits were no longer special. Stan couldn’t decide if he like that or not.Â
And yet here was his brother, who often dismissed his extra parts as unimportant, as something not as noticeable Stanley they hardly count, curious and excited over them.Â
Stan hisses and lets his claws swipe across the back of Ford’s hand. They leave angry little marks but don’t draw blood. Ford jumps away from him and lands on his ass in the soft dirt. His eyes are wide behind his glasses and Stan spits at him before darting up the porch stairs and around the front door.
“Heavens, Ford. Leave the critter alone. We haven’t even settled in yet and yer already harassin’ him.” Fiddleford plucks a couple cords of his banjo and rocks back to peek at Stan hiding in the shadow of the partly opened door. “He’s no fan of strangers.”
Stan scowls at the hillbilly and debates slinking further into the house to explore. He is kind of worried about bumping into something and breaking it though, so he remains close to Fidds as a point of reference. Fidds wasn’t one to yell at him for behaving like a normal cat. Ford, he’s not sure yet.Â
“You’ve told me the story on how he stopped a kidnapping.” Ford gets to his feet and dusts himself of, glancing between the man on the porch and the door. “Do you think we could train him for duties in the field?”
Stan growls loud enough to give his opinion on that. Fiddleford just laughs.Â
