Sometimes having mental illness is like living paycheck to paycheck but with your brain

there is a point in your depression where you just give up on getting better but you still won’t kill yourself. you just float around in this state of nothingness and don’t notice anything around you because you’re just so numb and you just don’t want to anything about it anymore

I wish I could talk to someone without feeling like a burden

No one's convinced me yet, that this isn't what death looks like, like a depressed young adult who just can't anymore, who thought they were doing better then had it all ripped away by one small little thing, eyes sunken in, bones heavy, cloaked in a blanket just begging someone to notice before the bridge looks more like an exit than an across.
