I feel frustrated sometimes. I wish I was thinner. But I don't. What I really wish is that more things could accommodate my size. And that people would treat me better. And that I might even be seen as desirable. I want all these things at my size.

And sometimes I want to be thinner because it might be easier for me to move through the world. I would be a little less out of breath. And I could squeeze through the space between tables in a small cafe. Maybe I could ride my bike longer and walk farther and my hip wouldn't be sore.

Sometimes I want to be thinner because seemingly nobody wants to be fat. Seeing bones protruding is more beautiful than seeing love handles. Having a round face means you can't wear bangs or high necklines. But a thin body makes jeans and a tank top fashion

Often times I don't want to be thinner. I feel okay being ugly, disgusting, undisciplined, sweaty, fat.

It's just a difficult thing to navigate these feelings when the "better" world is just a medicine away... well, medicine and a lot of money.
