Gil is trying to teach Jay to cook since between him and Harry he's the worst at it, though Harry is "cheating" with his magic

Gil LOVES cuddle time so Harry and Jay try to find time for it whenever they can

While Harry still thinks it's stupid he's right there with Gil cheering Jay on at his Tourney games

Also Harry got Dude to stop talking with his magic, Jay and Carlos are very grateful while Gil's disappointed

Harry has supplied his boyfriend with magical things which may or may not have been forbidden but he will deny it until he dies

Harry and Gil have "kidnapped" Jay for romantic trips on the lost revenge several times, Uma doesn't object. It keeps her boys happy and annoys Mal, win win

So for starters PHYSICAL AFFECTION is their love language, these boys cuddle ALL the time

Normally when one hookling gets a new partner the other two interrogate them to see if they're good enough, however CJ and Harriet did not do this with Gil, both because he's just the sweetest guy ever but also he has a buttload of trauma that they don't want to make worse

Gil's homelife is shit, so when he meets Harry's family, it's a lot for him going from having an abusive father to having two father-in-laws who actually care about him

Gil LOVES Harry's magic, and Harry puts on improvised magic shows for his boyfriend whenever he learns something new

Gil cooks for Harry ALL THE TIME, he has Harry's favorite recipes dialed deep in his head

Harry spoils Gil with gifts from Camelot and other places whenever he has time

Gil actually really likes reading and reads to Harry from time to time, musing about how they've somehow found their own happily ever after

If anyone as much as LOOKS at Gil the wrong way Harry and Uma are ON THEM

Gil likes to carry Harry around bridal style and Harry just welcomes it whenever he feels those strong arms wrap around him

James and Morgie like to laugh together about how similar Gil and Harry are to them when they were young

The entire school by now just knows Gil and Harry as these gay idiots who can't stop showing affection to each other

Also Harry knows Gil has close to no self-esteem and does everything he can to make Gil feel wanted and important
