big kids and middle/teen regressors who use pacis or go padded or use kid-safe cutlery and dishes... little kids who like scary media or 'higher level' educational content or super loud angry music... big kids who wanna be coddled or listen to lullabies and watch shows like bluey... little kids who swear or wanna be independent and get their own food and drink... and everyone else !!!

🌲 crouching down every couple minutes to investigate a fun rock while your cg stops and says “what’d you find, kid?” 🍂 pointing out all the bugs and little critters 🌱 getting your shoes soaked in the creek 🌼 staring out the car window on the way home from a hike and watching all the fireflies in the fields 🌳

Aaaa this started as a few lil doodles to comfort myself, and ended up as a mini comic!!

I don’t care how cute or messy your regression is, you’re valid whether you like sticking to a fun aesthetic, or if use your regression to get all your big bad feelings out. There’s no such thing as being a pure regressor, in the same way there’s no such thing as it being impure. Regress however you see fit, as long as it’s healthy and safe of course!

~The anxiety of wanting to get agere gear and not knowing what would happen if they get caught

~Modern au friend group going shopping, all going to grab separate things, Character A lingers in the toy/baby aisle for just a moment too long. Do they grabs something and try and sneak it into the shopping cart/ into the check out? Do they get called out by someone walking by? Do they simply just freak themselves out and leave without getting anything?

~Craving a caregiver knowing they will never get one

~Accidentally regressing around others they feel safe around. Having to heavily mask around the, that they are normal, while not wanting to be alone.

~There is no extra comfort, no added sweet words. There’s no one to promise to make everything better and give them a break, just a collection of soft moments and a whole lot of obsessive daydreams about what could be.

~Daydreaming about another person taking care/playing with/ being a playmate to Character A, only to feel bad about it after like they’ve done something wrong by their thoughts alone

~Some kind stranger/friend/family member/ co-worker/etc. who’s super sweet. Often using nicknames (like hun, love, sweetie) something that is normal for them to say but hits Character A instantly with a baby beam

~Character A struggling to regress for months and wondering how much easier it would be if they had someone as their caregiver or even as a babysitter nearby

~Character A who lives with others invited to a movie night. Easy, simple, until the usual pattern in interrupted and “hey for fun this time we’re watching nostalgic childhood/kid movies :D”

~Character A trying to convince Character B that they only collect toys because its trendy/a childhood toy of theirs/ a gag gift/ some stupid impulse purchase, so its really nothing and kind of stupid

<- bonus points if Character B ends up unintentionally destroying or getting rid of said little gear not knowing better and Character A can;t even say why they are so devastated in the first place without revealing the truth

~Character B stumbling upon Character A’s pacifier/toy/little gear collection. They have many questions and A is struggling to no freak out and come up with reasonable excuses.

<-Bonus points if B never says anything. A doesn’t even know they found their gear until they go to use it and find things moved around, or a drawer opened that only they go into or something missing, etc. Do they freak out? Start moving everything to a new spot? Did B tell anyone? Do they hyperfixate on the idea of ‘but what if B had? Or WILL tell someone?’ Do they come out in fear of B spreading gossip? Does B even know what they stumbled upon and so A outs themselves for no reason?

Like, no this character isn't using a pacifier or gripping onto a plushie or padded or wearing childing clothing, but they are hiding behind their most trusted person in the friend group, either a parental figure or close friend, when things feel too big and new.

They aren't crying out for mommy or daddy, or throwing a tantrum, but they're sobbing to themselves in the middle of the night, clutching their pillow like a person, because everything feels too big and too much

They aren't burying themselves in pacifiers, teethers, or plushies, but they're chewing on their shirt or hand when they get anxious and hugging their pillow to their chest like a lifeline
