I have been working on the final chapter of “Lately I’ve been crying like a tall child.”! I have a huge deadline that’s been absorbing all of my time recently too 💔 really want to post my Project Hail Mary fic too. Honestly in two weeks time I will be a free boy and out for summer so hopefully then you’ll get lots of fun content from me. I need all the luck in the world right now for this deadline and to pass with a good grade guy. So updates as soon as I can!!!

anyone else think pure / impure regression tags actually suck a lot? Age regression is a coping mechanism, and everyone is gonna experience it different. A lot of us literally using it as a way to cope through things that have happened to us. Some will use it as a way to process things that may not fit into the pastel age regression aesthetic, that doesn’t mean they should have to tag their regression as IMPURE???
I don’t care how cute or messy your regression is, you’re valid whether you like sticking to a fun aesthetic, or if use your regression to get all your big bad feelings out. There’s no such thing as being a pure regressor, in the same way there’s no such thing as it being impure. Regress however you see fit, as long as it’s healthy and safe of course!
Your big feelings are not impure, your age regression is NOT IMPURE

Chapter six is posted! We’re finally getting near the end of this fic now too, yall have been so kind with your support. Hope you like the update and let me know what you think! Link under cut <3
• Grace immediately clocks that Simon is just an itty-bitty baby boy. He sees how Simon looks at everything with such curiosity only little eyes can possess, how Simon flinches at everything even small noises- that's a real tiny boy right there!
• Oh Grace adores tiny Simon. He loves that he can pull out his teacher side (Grace jokes to himself that maybe he should've been a kindergarten teacher) as he sits Simon on his lap/infront of him and shows him all the cool science-y things, telling him in terms that a younger headspace can understand yet still makes it fun!
• Simon 1000% tried to surpress his regression, he didn't want to be vaunerable, especially around someone new! But, eventually he just broke down and started sobbing because he accidentally nicked his finger on one of the lab slides (he was trying to help Grace) and saw the little beads of blood and got very scared, he felt like he was back in the sub again!!
Grace is instantly there, grabbing a tissue and covering Simon's finger so the little guy doesn't see the blood! Grace starts talking, honestly rambling to distract Simon from his overwhelming fear! He tells Simon he's doing so good, Armando will fix him up, make sure no yucky bugs get in his finger and Grace will be right there the whole time!!
• When Simon is tiny he wants to be a helper! He likes helping Grace n' Rocky! Of course he's much too tiny to handle specimens so they give him smaller task of finding out which whiteboard markers are dried out, showing Rocky stuff in the screen room (aka: Rocky babysitting and the two are just watching tree videos) etc♡
• Rocky is so fascinated by this! Simon is much taller and stronger looking than Grace but here he is, seated on the ground clutching a blankie and curled in on himself while Grace is running his fingers through his hair. Someone so big is so very tiny!
• Sometimes Grace and Simon regress together! Though Grace tends to regress a bit older than Simon so he's just a very excited big brother who is holding his baby brother (Rocky needs to remind Grace that human babies need more sleep when he sees Grace trying to engage in some play while Simon is all curled up besides Rocky's glass panel xD)

Next I want to touch upon some positivity for caregivers, and the issues of CGs often being taken for granted or even taken advantage of. I’m not a caregiver myself, so I want to get some real CG thoughts on the subject! Is there anything you would like regressors to be more aware about, problems you’ve faced that people could be more educated on?
Caregivers deserve just as much love and validation as us littles get on here!

A reminder that sadly age regression as a whole is and will likely always be see as a “weird taboo” thing to others.
So dunking on other regressors for using / needing padding to feel superior or “less cringe”isn’t cool at all. Many disabled regressors also use them medically and need them, excluding and shaming those within our community isn’t okay!
there’s a big difference between having your own valid preferences and boundaries, and behaving borderline ableist and cruel towards your fellow regressors.
the smallest of the small this little guy is! I love writing for Simon so here are a bunch of HCs I wrote under the cut!
🌟🌙✨⭐️
🌟 - The WEEPIEST baby you will ever meet. He’s very little when he’s regressed usually. The slightest thing will cause him to burst into tears, a mild bump or scrape? Cue the waterworks. You treat him with basic kindness? He’ll fall to pieces. Simon is so sensitive, so CGs have to always have a handkerchief on hand to mop him up, not to mention lots of cuddles too. He’d gone so long bottling everything up emotionally, so when he’s regressed, he can be as sad as he needs to be.
🌟 - very anxious, Simon needs a lot of reassurance when regressed. A caregiver leaving can trigger all out temper tantrums. He’s constantly afraid of being abandoned and left alone. Even if left for a few minutes, it can send him into total panic.
🌟 - So clingy, regardless of his size- or his caregivers size. He will climb into their lap for cuddles any chance he gets. He likes to be held, have his hair brushed or rocked. Having been started of human touch for such a long time, he’s desperate for it. He especially likes to lay his head atop off of CG’s chest to listen to their heartbeat, letting him know he’s truly not alone anymore.
🌟 - Toys are not common place anymore, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a special stuffed animal. Which is a crudely tied together piece of sheeting, roughly resembling a dog. She’s called Laika after a special puppy who went to space, his mom told him about her. It had a sad story, Simon didn’t like that part- but he could understand. Laika is in rough shape as he carries her every chance he gets, rubbing her against his face like a comfort blankie.
🌟 - Simon is petrified of showers, the sensation of water spraying his face just reminds him of being inside the SM-13. He hates baths slightly less, but little toys and bubbles make them a lot easier. The bubbles in particular help, as he doesn’t have to look at the water or his own body.
🌟 - As his headspace age is very little, he needs a lot of help with basic things when small. Eating, washing, dressing etc. It’s something he’s very self conscious about as he himself isn’t a small person. If it were possible he’d love to be carried around and held, so instead settles for curling up in CG’s lap on the floor or in bed.
🌟 - The combination of Simon’s injuries, trauma and regressed headspace, he does rely on pull ups from time to time. It took him a long time to come to terms with it, and it’s a subject he’s deeply ashamed of. He needs lots of reassurance that it isn’t something to feel bad about. They’re just like any other medical aid and shouldn’t be something to be ashamed of!
🌟 - Simon’s regression is usually a way for him to process his trauma and feelings. Which means he’s not usually the happiest baby when small, but in the times where he is, you couldn’t get a sweeter soul. He’ll anxiously offer a drawing he did as a present, or hold onto his caregivers hand at any chance he gets. He loves them so much and wants them to remember that incase they forget.
🌟 - Tantrums aren’t uncommon with Simon, he can easily become overstimulated and upset over things. He needs supervision as he’s likely to hurt himself without realising, punching walls or breaking things. As he’s physically not the smallest of people, it can be hard for a CG to physically try and restrain him if he’s having a full meltdown. Give him some space to roll through it and then gently offer some comfort and help. That’s usually when he’ll burst into tears as he feels terrible for causing such a scene. He’s so scared of hurting people, he doesn’t want to be the butcher ever again.
🌟 - Very prone to nightmares, being in the SM-13 left him with a myriad of triggers and fears that carry over to his dreams too. If he wakes up alone, he’ll tearily make his way to a CG, whimpering that he had a bad dream. He needs a lot of cuddles and attention after one.

Thank you all so much for the support on this art! I'm so glad people have felt seen and represented <3 all too often I see age regressors usually portrayed at a young white cis female, skinny and conventionally attractive. Whilst of course some people do fit that description, age regression is a coping mechanism that can be experienced by any body. And everyBODY deserves that spotlight and love too🩷
