So I'm trying to write a Swap AU for iron lung and project hail mary, where The Agressor is sent down into the blood ocean to take samples, while Dr. Simon Mortimer is on the Hail Mary. Now my biggest issue is that I overcomplicate things and worry a lot, so I set myself a goal of writing out the events that happened to each of these characters before I allow the Agressor to find his way to Mortimer. It should also hopefully help me understand these two a bit better. However, I absolutely do not want to write 600+ pages of essentially context that is very heavily borrowed from the source material just to have these two idiots cuddle. So, do I:
