I am really excited about Byler but I think Iâm most excited to see Mikes reaction to Willâs feelings.

As someone who plays ice hockey Iâm seeing a lot of sevenspins AUs.
Now idk shit about figure skating but I do know hockey (credentials: over a decades worth of hockey).
Here are my head canons of the party making a full line in hockeyâŚ
Mike:
obviously heâs the leader and the heart of the group so Iâll put him on center. Center plays both offense and defense. They can go almost anywhere on the ice without consequence. His number is 7.
Dustin:
Iâm putting Dustin in net as the goalie. I donât have any real reason other than goalie are weird as shit and that his got the hair cut for it. Plus I just like DustinâŚ
Will and El:
Wonder twins will be defensive partners! I think El would be more offensive minded while Will would be more of a stay at home kind of player. They would get lots of help from Mike at center. Elâs number is 11, Willâs number is 1.
Max and Lucas:
They will be our wingers. Lucas is on right (left handed) and Max is on left (right handed). I think Lucas would be better at shooting and Max is better at passing. So Lucas would have pretty much every goal and Max would have every assist. Lucasâs number is 8

I honestly think that some people who ship Will x Carlton only ship it bc they hate Byler and that some people who ship Bychance just donât like Mike/ find Mike attractive.

All this really does is confirm that they are going to sideline Will. Why else wouldnât the Byersâ family show up but the Wheelerâs family does?
Hereâs my prediction of this show: itâs going to mainly follow El and Mike (which is why Hopper, Karen, and Nancy are involved).
The only reason Will would be important is bc theyâre going to use Nikki (an obviously terrible and stupid OC insert) to push his storyline away from Mike so he doesnât get in the way of their relationship.
Dustin and Steve are going to have a storyline together. Steve honestly might just be included bc heâs the fan favorite. Also, with how the trailer puts it, it seems Nancy might only be there for Steveâs storyline.
Max and Lucas???? Idek man⌠with that trailer and the whole âoh take notes Lucas!â They might only be there to build up Mileven?? Like as in compare relationships and pretend that Mike and El have a better one.
All in all, this is already so terrible and it hasnât even been fully made yet.
To try and end on a positive note, I do like the idea of having an animated stranger things show and I actually really do like this kind of animation style. I just hate that theyâve made it so obviously a cash grab with little thought and passion put into it.
