most handy here is the stream schedule! since i'm not affiliate yet i can't set specific dates T.T. and i'm sorry for the iffy wording for today's stream lol i don't know exactly when my folks will be out.

Day 1 of trying oil pastels
I drew some blueberries from pinterest, I've watched some videos of people working with oil pastels but this is the first time actually trying it out for myself. I was actually so surprised with the way the colors blended. It was a pleasant surprise really.
Im not sure if it should look like this tho. Like. It's a bit messy? Idk how to get clean edges and stuff. Im not sure if I love it or hate it.
Also, for highlights, I'm not sure what to do. As you see in the first berry in the front, I left a patch of white while coloring. So that became a highlight. In the other berries I used the white pastel but it was kinda smudgy and didn't have the highlighty effect. Do you guys have any tips to create highlights for pastel artwork? Maybe using a different medium like some kind of marker? Any tips are welcome!!
