Destiny 3rd day's Reaction

So Destiny has been out for 3 days now and I’m seeing a lot of mixed reactions which is to be expected. Some I understand and some are just ignorant. So here are my personal thoughts.
DAY 1: Midnight on launch day. Servers were constantly booting people. One of my main concerns coming into this online only game was that the servers would be laggy or unplayable. This worried me because I simply could not play it launch night. Overall: I'm worried that the servers would make this game unplayable similar to BF4
DAY 1: 6pm. After checking twitter all day at work for server status updates, I popped in Destiny to find the servers were working flawlessly! I’m excited! I created my character and powered through the first few missions. I was surprised to find the movement and controls were better than I expected. For me that’s huge, I will never play a game again if I don’t like the feel (talking to you Killzone). I tried to pay attention to the story but it didn’t seem to capture me yet, but then again I never really paid attention to Halos either. As you know I’ve never been big into campaign modes. The enemies AI is smart and feels evenly matched. I was a little confused though because I was not sure what the other players were doing in my mission. I'm not familiar with MMO's. I was also concerned that there were no online multiplayer game modes. Turns out you have to unlock it, which I agree with. Otherwise you would get out gunned by the upper levels. Overall: I'm excited and curious but need to experience the multiplayer game modes.
DAY 2: This is when the real fun began. Jon and I decided to team up, and level our characters. We headed to Earth and started completing the missions and strikes together while sharing a-lot of humorous moments along the way. I'm finding myself enjoying the game way more than day 1. One thing I'm beginning to notice is the tower is not as large as I once thought it may be. However, this is exciting to think of how the expansions could add to the tower and add excitement to the tower. How exciting for the last remaining citizens to build their safe zone? I'm still getting a grasp on upgrading the armor and abilities. Overall: The more I play, the more fun I have. But also the more I play the more questions I get about replay value when level capped.
DAY 3 - Multiplayer: Jon is now level 8. And i'm now level 5. I joined Jon on the moon for the first mission. After dying hilariously a number of times, I decided I needed to complete some bounty missions to gain some xp. FINALLY a chance to dive into the multiplayer gameplay! The first bounty requires me to play one of four game modes, which is similar to Battlefields conquest. My first thoughts was that the maps are well designed, as Bungie is normally good at. I did find that it was annoying playing against these high level players (I'm a 5 versing alot of 12 - 18) and getting killed instantly by things I never heard of. I do wish that they would pair you against people your rank. After 3 rounds I started getting the hang of it and my kdr reached over 1.0 with 17 kills. I have not found a way to display the deaths, and i'm not to sure the reasoning behind it. I did however love the fact that they brought back the medals for achieving various task during the match, such as double kills. Overall: By the end of the night, I was really enjoying the multiplayer. The fast movement by the enemies weren't bugging me as badly, and I want to level up now to whoop some ass.
I'm enjoying Destiny and excited to see what they add. I see alot of stupid comments, intelligent concerns, and just downright trolling. Anytime you get a game of this caliber people will set expectations unbelievably high and look for reasons to be outraged. Let it die down, and give the game a fair chance at creativity.
