Psychonauts has become so important for me because it’s just straight up awesome to see characters that have the same problems that I do that aren’t labeled as freaks or just straight up bad people by the narrative. It’s just really nice and it makes me joyous.

The moment Lizzie realizes that Lucrecia Mux is staying in the gulch she makes it her entire mission in life to become her apprentice and learn advanced hydrokinesis. Lucy is none too fond of being pursued for an ability strongly linked to so many bad memories, but she will allow Lizzie to come over if she agrees to quilting lessons instead. Lizzie is hoping this is a karate kid situation where she's secretly leaning hydrokinesis techniques. It is not. But they are having a lovely time making quilts.
