we need to bring back public hatred for paparazzi. I’m so tired of actors defending themselves against assholes with cameras and being smeared as egotistical divas. they’re glorified stalkers who get paid to harass people. end of. the things these freaks get away with would send normal people to prison but we’re supposed to think it’s okay just bc they’re paparazzi. they SHOULD get shut down for being openly misogynistic. they SHOULD get told off and reported for following someone to their private residence to doxx them. they SHOULD face charges for just about running people over in their pursuit of the next hot celeb. this is not normal. and, actually, these people DO deserve to get punched sometimes.

often you will see things online where you just have to be like "what a strange thing to say" or "i don't think that's true :)" to yourself and try to move on or you will lose your mind

The thing about the "all evil fictional women from myth and legend are misunderstood and in reality their story was retold to make them evil because men were afraid of their power" trend is that it's low-key also misogynistic to assume women are incapable of being terrible people purely due to being women.

also it's not my place to speak definitively on this (as i've established) but even i, a trans guy, can see that spreading these really essentialist narratives about T being the anger hormone and E being the in-touch-with-your-feelings hormone is shitty to a lot of trans women/fems too. Transfems who might not be able to go on HRT yet, or who don't want HRT, or who want a different HRT approach that doesn't suppress testosterone as much, don't deserve to be catching strays like this. Just because estrogen is The Vitamin for one particular person's dysphoria doesn't mean it always drastically changes people, or that the lack of it makes a person emotionally colorblind or whatever threads OP's wording was.

if you have to rely on specific scripts or turns of phrase to socialise that's totally fine, but you must NOT reveal them to your friends while slightly drunk. it's like showing how the magic trick works, you can't do it in front of them afterwards

i like dogs a lot but i can never remember the differences between breeds (apart from the few types i've actually owned/interacted with). but i know people looove their dogs and love talking about their dogs, so whenever im talking to a dog owner i'll ask what breed it is, and no matter what breed they say i'll say "oh! i've heard they have a really nice nature :D" and they always go YESSS THEY'RE GREAT and start gushing about their dog and we have a nice conversation and i build social credit with this person. anyway i told my friends about this script a few weeks ago when slightly drunk and now every time we're in public together and a dog goes past they turn to me and ask "does that one have a nice nature?" im in a hell of my own making
