Went up to Paris for the day to celebrate my birthday and passing my annual review on Monday! It was a super whirlwind day, featuring my favourite coffee shoppe, taking a stroll through the Palais-Royal to get to the BnF Richelieu in order to renew my subscription at the Institut national d'histoire de l'art, and seeing JR's severely damaged La Caverne du Pont Neuf. I also saw four exhibitions but I'll post about each one separately soon.

I am back with this semester’s exam with me. Again it’s a lot hectic because the subjects are very tricky. It is draining
But let’s try our very best to make the most out of it and study. All the best for the exams.
It will be over soon so let’s just work hard while they last.

I've decided this will be a very reading heavy month. I usually read around 3 books per month, buth this time I'll be reading 5 (though my goal is to finish 4).
The Hobbit: I started this book a while back and have not finished it yet. I have the French edition, so it makes it a bit more difficult, since I'm a bit rusty.
Don't let the forest in: Intrigued by this book and it's plot. I believe it's young adult, so I'm curioso how the story develops.
Katabasis: I've been wanting to go back to school and maybe get a PhD (or even a brand new bachelor), so hopefully this disencourages me because honestly what am I thinking.
Rhythm of War: I just had my book club meeting for Oathbringer and we set the date for ROW's meeting for July. This is the only book I don't plan to finish in June. I'll be listening to the audiobook daily (I hope).
And now back to you: Honestly I need something light for this month, since every other book goed on the heavier side. And what better than to read the second book in the Heartstrings saga? A good corny office romance makes everything very light.
I already have some goals for July and the second half of the year, so this TBR is going to give me a head start.

Today morning routine: reading & journaling

June 1st Tracker Updates:
8.8km walked (5.4 miles) - 6.7km were a 1hr 30 minute trail hike
11,326 Steps
78oz water (3 Brita water bottles full)
Mood: split between happy and energetic (though the energy was gone after the long walk)
Supplements (Iron, B12, D3) I do not have magnesium at the moment as i am reintroducing the supplements one at a time to make sure they are having an impact
** I added a partial KM tracker to keep it as accurate as possible I will add them up at the end of the month and add them onto the tracker

Birds Don't Sing - TV Girl
It is currently swotvac and i am currently very stressed. I could choose to handle this by doing my work or I could continue to do what I have the last few days and have fun (i went ice skating!!). I do have an art folio due on sunday so it is very much time to get onto that hence the first and third photos but I also went shopping multiple times and tried a pistacchio latte (second photo) which I would highly recommend. anyway. wish luck. first exam monday. very scary.
