This whole post is wonderful, but I think a lot of people don’t realise just how rare bilateral gynandromorphs are. Research has shown that only approximately 1 in 6,000 butterflies is a bilateral gynandromorph! So thanks so much @oddity-txt for sharing this wonderful being with us!

This is not a reach at all. In fact I mostly view this as canon because honestly, Caine seems to resent Pomni for showing empathy to everyone BUT him. I think there's a reason that the torment Caine inflicted on Pomni included Gummigoo. He's seen her show empathy to Gummigoo, Abel, and everyone else in the Circus -- but never him.
