How would you feel like after finding out people want you on the black market? Vincent Hammerson remembers nothing before the day his grandfather,Morgan, casts him out of his own home, cursing. What a sixteen years old child could have done so his grandfather would do this to him? An owner of the cafe “The Cozy Cup” takes the boy under his wing, providing him with a job.

Their peaceful life doesn’t last long. One day the local gang Darkhall attacks their cafe and Vincent for the first time feels like there’s a dangerous beast inside him that’s ready to eat alive anyone who stands on his road.

On the next day the guy gets kidnapped by mysterious people in animal masks and a gangster from the Darkhall saves him. Vincent is suggested to join the Darkhall to get protection otherwise he needs to run far away because people on the black market want him by offering a big price for anyone who brings him alive. Will Vincent join the Darkhall or run away in fear? What’s the dangerous beast is inside him? And what secrets hides his past?

Meet my character - Lupe Morales

🌿1. The reason: tell me why your character is crying? Is it because of fear, pain, anger or happiness? Your reader needs to know why they’re feeling that way because if a character feels something in that way it must have a reason behind all of it.

🌿2.Concentrate on the inner side: dive into your character’s thoughts and feelings, describe their emotional pain or their happiness, as their heart drops or heartbeat slows. Put yourself into your character’s body and describe their feelings as if you felt them.

🌿3.Describe their body language: don’t just write that tears rolling down their cheeks, instead, write like there’s a rope around their throat that when they speak their voice cracks. Describe as their lips started trembling, or hands shivering uncontrollably. Write them crying as if it was you.

Writing characters crying may be challenging but putting effort into such scenes will make your book more intense and memorable. So don’t give up and don’t try to write the “perfect” scene just try to make it more alive.

“We are sons of Adam. You know what sons of Adam do? They’re trying to survive, my dear.”

“White birds” is my second current project. It’s about guys with mental illnesses kidnapped by some mysterious organisation and raised to be an experiment. One day they run away from the “base” and now they are going to destroy those who turned their life into a nightmare.

Mostly, this book is about a guy with anger issues. He tries not to end up like his abusive father and also he tries to prove to himself he is not his parent and falling from time to time into endless despair on how he can’t even be softer while speaking with somebody.

Secondly, it’s about a guy with depression. He smiles during the day, cheers everybody up but at the end of the day he just…cries into pillow.

Thirdly, about a guy who overthinks even his own existence. He can’t hurt a fly and easily falls into panic but actually he’s pretty brave and tries to be more confident than he is.

And lastly, about a guy who is like a mouse. He is speechless, closed but creative. He loves capturing photos and suffers from being an unwanted child who runs after his dad’s love.

It’s a story about four people trying to survive in this cruel world. About people who were almost close to kill each other as became a real family. About people who want to take revenge and destroy those who made them suffering.

How would you feel if you lose all your memory? What would you do if you lose your meaning?

My character - Vincent - accepts an offer to work in the police department because it is what makes him feel helpful and gives his life a meaning after losing his memory. But receiving a video where he kills a man he starts doubting if he really belongs to the good side and joins the local gang which promises to tell him everything about his past. While his family keeps telling him he only causes trouble Vincent tries to find his place and catch that someone who knows a little bit more about him. But he doesn’t even know his past can hide more secrets than anyone would think of. Or what if the truth was from the start somewhere near?
