I'm too tired to really talk about this au rn but Mori and i crafted a lovely little horror au inspired by a horror mod for skyrim called Shadow of Meresis

We call this au Shadow of Mercay (SoM for short) and the only context you need for this sketch is that Linebeck was already a ghost here :] And that the hourglass is a corrupted artifact.

Yes he was sent back after Oshus woke up but you know who else was sent back? Jolene, Astrid, and all of the Anouki and maybe the gorons. Linebeck isn’t the only one, and we know this cuz of Spirit tracks. Jolene has a descendant Joynas. The Anouki exist, I think Astrid is straight up in Spirit tracks but I don’t quite remember. Linebeck is not the only one. And it’s hard cuz we don’t know how long the world lasted. Time moves very slow but there were islands, culture, and families that existed, so we know it had to have been a while for Oshus’s realm to exist. So did Linebeck get sucked into his world unknowingly? Or was he born in the world, where his parents were sucked in. Or was he willed into existence, given a backstory and family that doesn’t actually exist? Or maybe they do? We know he and Jolene knew each other when they were kids, so they both had to have come from the same place, right?
