Ok ok, with the oot remake coming out, we can all agree to be respectful to each other’s opinions, right? People excited for the remake aren’t going to personally insult people who don’t like it and vice versa, right? We can be normal about this yeah? We all know that a toxic fandom comes from people being unable to handle differing opinions right??? Right???

I’m excited for the oot remake, because I haven’t had an opportunity to play neither the original nor the 3ds version. The original came out the year after I was born, and when the 3ds version came out I had to practically beg my mom for every game I owned. So I am glad that it is getting another remake, this time I have my own money.

That’s completely fair and I relate to that a lot. I got into gaming like, after all the classics were out and having to get old nintendo games is HARD and sometimes really expensive! I got almost every zelda game now so I don’t need this remake, but im glad you’re able to play oot. Hopefully the story is still the same with some great stuff added in! Im not gonna play it nor do I care for it, but I am curious about the possible changes.

#if it’s too different i hope you’ll be anle to play the og or 3d someday cuz those games are great #but if it’s not too different #it wont matter #i do feel it a little unnecessary but also #the port that oot has is one you have to pay a monthly subscription to #which I find evil so i dont blame anyone using that #it’s better to buy the game and own I feel #but yeah glad this is exciting for you anon #asks

Did you notice how they brought back the OG HW art style back for the OoT remake? As someone who thinks that visual style and the game it came from are very underrated, I see this as an absolute win!

It does have the vibes of the hw art style. It’s hard to tell what the actual style is, I just know I don’t like the lighting or graphics.

I know I said I was stoked for Talon but the thought of realistic Talon frightens me a bit

#i do not like the style at alllllll #im trying not to be so negative #i like the tunic? i love redesigns so it’d be pretty cool to see that #but I hate the look of unreal engine #you know how everyone was freaking out over oot unreal? i hated that look #it just looks bad #ugh #idk #i’ll have to see but it doesnt fit zelda at all #zelda has a VERY distinct and unique style across all games #and this doesnt fit it #augh #asks #i guess i’ll have to see when it happens #i just feel like this is unnecessary cuz the oot 3d remake was already great ya know
