‪‪❤︎‬ Tim - The Father

Tim is symbolic of the father. he is the most demanding. he gives orders. likes to be the one in control at all times. outwardly shows that he is the one who should be protecting (+ providing. i.e - hunting). most interested in giving discipline. yes, literal spanking or being forced to sit in the corner, as he is actually a grown man and he thinks he's within his right. but also the most open & willing to giving praise, that being part of his charm, sitting her on his lap and brushing her hair out of her face. he doesn't always balance it out well, but there is a stark contrast between his toughness and softer almost paternal nature. the most content to do handy work, finding that it gives him a purpose. he will fix anything (except his attitude. perpetually needs work). "Not workin', darlin'? C'mere, lemme take a look."

‪‪❤︎‬ Brian - The Older Brother

Brian is symbolic of the older brother. the most aloof and acts detached, but still is secretly very protective & possessive. silently judgemental of many things, but begrudgingly will appease her. acts as second in command, often his remarks coming off as something an older brother might say. "Tim said not to go out there after sundown." will still cave and watch out for her when she tries to do things that she shouldnt do. the intimacy with him is typically done in secret, as if its something that shouldn't be seen by the others. ironically, some of the most intimate moments being times like when she is trying to argue with him over something. he looks down at her, holding a small bag of chips, dryly joking, "Can't hear ya, yer pretty far away. How's the weather down there?" as he puts one of them in his mouth, and walks away, leaving her extremely irritated, but flushed in the face. bickering siblings.

‪‪❤︎‬ Toby - The Mutt

Toby is symbolic of the mutt. untamed, but conditionally obedient. he is muzzled for a reason. its acceptable to kick him around and make him sleep outside in the cold. he cant feel it, anyway. unlike the other two, he is alright with being "put in his place" because it appeals to him in some way. likes the idea of the mediatress beating him up, devoting such a passionate energy to him, all while he feels absolutely none of it and her efforts are worthless. "H-heh, that as good for you as it was for me?" he will do menial tasks when adequately forced into it. likes being rewarded for it, though. he revels in being a weird little freak. he enjoys being a nuisance. however, despite his tendency towards enjoying things that are rough, harsh, wild, and messy, much like a dog, he also likes receiving care. praise. loves being patched up and tenderly kissed after playing guard dog. (will definitely try to take advantage of it though, as he thinks its an invitation to go all the way.)

So the mediatress metaphorically plays the daughter, sister, and owner. Despite all of them having the most leverage and power over her, (the father being the head, the older brother having more dominion, and the mutt being capable of turning on her and attacking at any moment) there are ultimately times when they will be forced to bend to her will, as it is what The Operator wants when things are too disorganized or getting out of control between them.

‪‪❤︎‬ How do the guys feel about being flirtatious with her in front of each other?

well, in instances of older men being creepy towards their step daughters, usually they arent so subtle, i think. tim wouldnt feel so embarrassed because he doesn't really have shame over anything. hes pretty bold and he thinks hes within his right to do what he wants. he doesn't feel as if he should hide his fondness for her from the guys.

brian is just a very reserved person, though. hes more withdrawn and quiet and he would be more likely to be private and low-key, and so the parallel makes me think of step siblings hiding from their parents and doing things with each other in secret.

then toby being like the dog, obviously the lack of shame is just from complete lack of concern for being seen as gross or weird bc hes so beyond that and he is already viewed through that lens, nothing really matters to him, he is like the most hedonistic probably. he doesn't really care who sees what.

‪‪❤︎‬ Do they ever get jealous or territorial over her?

tim is like the most territorial of the three, i think.

brian has this indifference about him, much like how an older brother just fucks off to his room & doesnt really get involved in drama, lol. he just does what he wants when he gets time with her, and other than that, its not that serious to him. but if she were to be somewhat involved with anyone else outside of their little trio, it would really bother him. he will question her a bit if she's ever gone for a while, acting unbothered like hes just making conversation, but deep down somewhere hes kinda burning up.

it's similar with Toby. its not that he like "gets scraps" like a dog, but he just doesnt mind sharing. when hes in a state of mania, which happens often, his hypersexuality kinda keeps him from caring. all that rlly matters is having her when he wants to. he can get jealous at times if he feels a little neglected, but again it isn't so serious to him. id argue that sometimes he even finds it kind of hot when hes particularly "in heat " (i mean to say when he's horny. he does not actually have heats because he is a human being, lol). just make sure he is able to get his turn.

with tim, id say he's probably the most possessive within the group, nevermind if she were to get involved with an outsider. thats a big nono. since he's kinda like the head of the group and the most quick to anger, he kinda will get into a bad mood if he catches stuff like that going on in front of him. if its kept private, the less he knows the better. out of sight out of mind. he knows what goes on, and like i said, the type of love is like "ludus" which is like the playful, non committed type of love. flirting, casual intimacy, and they know that none of them have any kind of special placement over the others, its just like a shared experience that they arent even meant to be engaging in.

her purpose is to be like a mediator, but she also partially is like a means to vent sexual needs for them lol. i mean, its not like a porn brained free for all where everyones getting laid 24/7. it is typically more casual, a heavier emphasis on their strange way of flirting, touching and having surface levels of intimacy, with serious sexual interactions being much more limited. they kinda have no choice but to not mind sharing because she does technically belong to all 3 of them equally, but for sure tim would be the most grumpy out of the 3 if he were to catch that sort of thing. since brian is also the closest to him & they have a rlly strong bond, thats also part of why he is more secretive about it. whereas toby almost sorta enjoys being antagonistic sometimes so he may not care as much.
