can you dig it?

eliot obviously goes as a klingon. hes in the full makeup and get up he pretends he hates this. he of course ends up making friends with other klingon cosplayers and is at some point invited to a regular cosplay meetup by them. there is also an egregious fight scene where he uses a batleth to take down like 8 people also in full cosplay. it is awesome.

i think breanna would maybe go as b'elanna. maybe im just projecting a lil but i could really see her loving the complicated smart woman of colour and i just think she'd really love the lady engineer esp as a young woman in stem and with her love of tech and computers. and shed certainly be the right age for voyager to have been something she watched when she was younger (perhaps with hardison as a way for him to bond with his new foster sister <3)

parker isnt in full cosplay for practical reasons. however not wanting to miss out on the fun her regular thief garb is accompanied by vulcan ears and she spends the entire episode speaking a monotone vulcan impression. this annoys eliot IMMENSELY.

sophie is reluctant to dress up in a cosplay. she thinks its tacky and would hinder her performance to be in such an outfit. then hardison shows her a picture of lwaxana troi and she is SOLD. she easily has the single most elaborate cosplay of the group. she is constantly being swarmed by congoers who want her photo.

hardison is in the van mostly this episode (much to his dismay as the groups resident main trekkie) but he makes use of this to cycle through about 5 different cosplays (notably riker, kirk and sisko are in the mix) whenever the camera cuts to him hes dressed as someone new. he ends up coming into the building towards the end of the con just in time to witness eliots big batleth fight and make some extremely delighted jabs at him.

harry misread the email and shows up in a full chewbacca cosplay suit. hardison is like "absolutely not" and makes him go change. so hes in his regular old suit for the entire con. he looks incredibly out of place.
