it's unsurprising that clown smut dominates the widow's bay tag on ao3 but i'm disturbed by the lack of old man fucking. not to mention the lack of conditionally immortal old man fucking.

widow's bay does the trolley problem so well. imagine you're the one who would have to pull the lever to divert the trolley. and you know that you should because you put a lot of people in the trolley's way because you didn't want to believe the runaway trolley was real despite seeing evidence of it firsthand. so you go to the woman you'd be killing if you pulled the lever. she doesn't realize that you're deciding whether or not to kill her. and you explain the concept of trolley problem to her in the hopes that she will agree that the lever should be pulled and preemptively absolve you of your guilt. but she says no, you can't pull the lever, because the runaway trolley is an accident but if you pull the lever you're complicit. happened to my good buddy tom loftis
