Hello fellow EJ fan I presume do you perhaps have any thoughts on him/her β¦ sorry if this is an odd ask out of nowhere I am merely curious!! :3c
I feel extremely bad for him
the guy spends his ENTIRE FUCKING LIFE seen as an nuisance
It's funny at first, but when you think about it, his life really sucks
in the last few moments before he's killed, he states that he's been suffering since the moment he was born. And he's right.
of course he's such an ass, he's had no-one to teach him otherwise
Double clearly hates him, Flint and Float don't seem to pay him any attention, Fark only acknowledges him when he gives him the info he wants (not that he can really be blamed for that but still), Astra murders him at the worst moment of his life, probably just to get him out of the way, and Freom...
Freom doesn't even acknowledge him. Sure, EJ claims that he's Freom's second-in-command, but it's clear to everyone else that Freom views him more as a pawn.
One he can use to get to Fark.
When Double throws EJ off the tower, despite Freom being very close by, he doesn't try to stop him or even see if EJ is okay. DESPITE EJ CLEARLY BEING INJURED. Freom instead zones in on Fark. His only goal is getting to Fark.
Despite having EJ's undying loyalty, Fark is the one who Freom gives the chance to rule alongside him.
However you look at it, Freom never cared for EJ.
And EJ only started to grasp this SECONDS before his death.
Everyone else in the STEJ cast had someone that cared about them. Flint and Float are the obvious examples, but even if Flint left Double, they had a fairly good relationship before that. Armstrong had the Megagraph trio, along with Fark and Spark, at least a bit. Astra had Romalo, even if she didn't tell him who she really was until it couldn't be hidden. Spark and Fark have a complicated relationship, but they're still close, even if it takes until the finale for them to finally start moving in a positive direction. Hell, even Freom had Clarity, at least for a time.
But EJ never had a single person to give him even a sliver of love.
It makes you wonder, if EJ had someone that actually, genuinely cared about him, maybe things could have turned out differently. Maybe he could have been saved.
Instead, he dies scared, confused and just barely realising he was created to be used, and then thrown away.
