For dinner and a movie, all in one, just follow the food trucks. During the summer and fall, Street Food Cinema throws together a series of mostly outdoor parties that include screenings of some of our favorite movies, paired with an assortment of gourmet food trucks and even a live music performance from a cool local band. The screenings are held in venues across L.A., and  alternate from week to week, so make sure to check the schedule. Some of the outdoor venues are dog-friendly, allowing you to bring your four-legged cinema lover along. New this year are two overnight camping events that extend the movie screening into a fun summer camp experience for grown-ups.

Global content studio Pulse Films has signed director Joanna Nordahl to its roster for UK representation across commercials and music videos. Swedish native Nordahl, who divides her time between London and Stockholm, has created music videos, short films, documentaries and commercials as well as contemporary performance pieces, garnering her recognition both as a director and visual artist.

Strange Beast has signed Joseph Melhuish for worldwide representation. The London-based animation director and illustrator, who specialises in glossy and twisted CGI creations, has worked for brands including Vice, MTV and Adult Swim as well as animated illustrations for Bloomberg and Red Bull Music Academy.

Enas Rashwan will head up the non-profit organisation's first international chapter.

Theater for the New City (TNC) maintains a distinctive commitment to high artistic values and community service. The 40th Annual Chicago Jazz Festival showcases the greatest jazz artists from Chicago and around the world across the city during new, extended festival dates. Headliner performances in Millennium Park include Ramsey Lewis, Kurt Elling, Dianne Reeves, Maceo Parker and Orbert Davis' Chicago Jazz Philharmonic. The Chicago Jazz Festival is produced by the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events and programmed by the Jazz Institute of Chicago.

Fairburn, who joins as EP, started off as a runner, eventually moving into producing. He spent two years at Glassworks before joining Electric Theatre Collective, where he worked on campaigns for clients like Nike, Puma, and Tetley Tea. Whittle also began his career as a runner at MPC in 2010, before moving to Smoke & Mirrors and working his way up to Flame artist. Whittle's reel includes work for Fosters, Mitsubishi and Amazon and he was also part of the VFX team for Mitsubishi’s The Leader campaign.

Landa began his career as an art director at BBDO Madrid before founding Bungalow - a creative studio in Barcelona dedicated to motion graphics, animation and illustration. He has worked with a variety of notable brands including Nike, Ikea, and Oppo. In the past couple of years, Landa has developed a distinct, cinematic style with a keen eye for art direction.

John O'Hagan signs to 2AM

O'Hagan was born in Dublin, Ireland and now lives on the East Coast, USA. He graduated from New York University Tisch School of the Arts with a Master of Fine Arts in Film, having studied and worked under directors such as Todd Haynes, Spike Lee, and David Byrne. O'Hagan's commercial, Cat Herders, for EDS, has been consistently listed as one of the Top 10 Super Bowl commercials of all time. He has also directed international campaigns for Adidas, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mercedes, Land Rover, VW, Volvo, Toyota, Microsoft, IBM, Budweiser, Miller, Heineken, Smirnoff, McDonald's, Visa, and Samsung.
