Anyone happy about this needs to check their empathy because this is beyond fucked up.

I'm worried about performers, you should be too.

At some point in their lives, their work can become worth more when they die; if they die on stage the payout owners of the brand/franchise/music/whatever get is ASTRONOMICAL. For example: Taylor Swifts legs are (or were?) insured for $30million (good for her for taking ownership of her brand). It kind of freaks me out that they put price tags on body parts in this manner-It's so much more than a medical thing.

I don't care how much of a piece of shit you think any of these people are, no one deserves half the shit these events put them though. It's part of the reason why these celebrities justify their greed; "these people treat me like shit, fuck my carbon footprint".
