We are LGBTIQ refugees from Sudan and we are living through extremely difficult and painful circumstances every day. We were forced to flee our homes because of who we are, hoping to find safety, but instead we continue to face fear, rejection and deep suffering wherever we go.

Life has become a daily struggle for survival. We often do not have enough food, clean water, medical care or safe shelter. Sometimes we are forced to drink unsafe water and go without basic meals simply because we cannot afford or access anything better.

Many of us are sick, deeply traumatized, and living in constant uncertainty and fear.Access to medication is almost impossible without money, and because of the discrimination and violence we face, finding work or any stable income is extremely hard. This leaves us unable to meet even our most basic needs and our health and lives are at serious risk every day.

We are not asking for comfort or luxury we are asking for survival, dignity and the chance to live as other human beings with safety and respect as below. Our situation is urgent, and we truly cannot do this alone. 🙏. We truly admire this life 🙌

I am Hamza from Gaza, a husband and father of four children. Before the war, I worked and provided for my family, and we lived a simple but stable life. Since the war began, everything has changed. We were displaced many times, and our home was eventually completely destroyed, leaving us without shelter or stability.

During this period, I was seriously injured in my hand while trying to obtain food for my children, which left me unable to work and in need of surgery I cannot afford. My young daughter Amira was also injured and urgently needs medical treatment. We have lost relatives, our home, and all our belongings, and we are now living in a tent under very harsh conditions. My youngest daughter, Aya, was born during the war and needs basic supplies and care.

I created this campaign to seek support for my family — to help cover urgent medical treatment, food, and essential needs for my children. Any support, no matter how small, can make a real difference and give my family hope for a safer, more dignified life. 🤍

I’m writing this with honesty, not perfection, and with hope that still refuses to die.

Right now, life is painfully heavy. We are facing harsh and inhuman conditions that no one should have to endure. Access to basic needs like food, clean water, medications, beverages, and other essentials is limited, and each day feels like a test of survival rather than living.

Despite all this, we are still standing. We are still reaching out not because it’s easy, but because community and solidarity are sometimes the only things that keep us going.

Some of our colleagues have been given the chance to flee to a third country in search of safety. While this is a step toward hope, it comes with its own struggles. They need decent clothes, shoes, bags, and basic necessities to start over. These things cost money, and we are unable to work due to discrimination and exclusion. If we could do this on our own, we would but right now, we can’t.

Right now, families in Sudan and the neighboring refugee camps are facing unimaginable hardship—lives shattered by war, displacement, and hunger. In places like Nyarugusu and Gorom refugee camps, people are surviving in overcrowded shelters, with little access to clean water, food, or medical care. We’re reaching out not for charity, but for solidarity across borders. Our struggle is one for justice, dignity, and collective survival for those running from violence, not just “refugees” as a distant category, but as neighbors, parents, and children fighting for their lives.

Direct, Transparent Aid: Every pound or dollar you give goes straight to urgent essentials—food, clean water, basic shelter, hygiene kits, and medicines—without corporate middlemen or bloated “administrative” overhead. Hello dear beloved LGBTQIA friendsand Allies. This is Peter, I am reaching out with a heavy heart pleading for your support in this continuous stressful days. I reached out to our friend and requested them to creat us one post so that we can be heard out side there. Its now 3 month without getting any suport and we are passing through hard times to survive and most of the times we only survive on water and porridge for lesbian children's. We can't even afford to pay medications when we are sick just like now am very sick but I don't have any option than enduring the pain. Please any kind of support will mean much and life saving 🙏

My son had a surgery some time ago, and we were hoping it would help him recover. Sadly, the operation failed, and now he urgently needs a second surgery 🙏

The treatment is very expensive, and I simply cannot afford it. I am alone, and my husband is a prisoner, leaving me with no support but God and kind people like you.

Every day, I feel fear and helplessness watching him suffer… I just want to see him healthy and smiling again 😔

However life is very hard due to the high level of discrimination, isolations and torture. If now three days while we are starving but only surviving on water amd porridge for the lesbians mothers. We are having some colleagueswho are very sick but due that we are having out standing depts at the hospital they refused to treat them and told us to first pay for the bills first.

Hello everyone. I'm called Peter. aqueer refugee in south sudan at gorom refugee settlement and arepresentative for my fellows. Right now we are really passing through hard times about starvation and luck for medication in this out break of malaria in the camp. Many of my colleagues are now sick but due to the reason that we don't have any donation on our gofund and the last donation was 23 days ago, I'm not able to pay the medication fir my friends and yet also at the same time there is starvation.
