This book means so much to me. More than any other. I've basically read every other book he's ever written. Although haven't finished Compound Fracture yet. But YWMTBH hit different. So disgustingly close to heart that I'm almost embarrassed to admit it.

Like, sure, I would never overstep my partners boundaries by going out with somebody else. Of course, I love them and I I'm pretty happy with what we have (which is a very healthy and supportive relationship) and I'm definitely happy to stay that way, but god do I crave somebody else sometimes. Nobody in particular. Just you know.

Yeah, I give up. I'm growing my hair out, wearing whatever I want, and you can't do anything about it.

I'm a pre-t transmasc person. I will not get gendered correctly most of the time anyway. I'm still just a girl in their eyes, so why should I even try? I tried cutting my hair, changing the way I dress. It barely ever helped. And I've never felt like it was truly me.

I'm done trying to conform to the binary and expectations people have of me. Yes, I am trans. Yes, I'm growing out my hair. Yes, I don't bind. Yes, I wear whatever I feel like wearing. Yes, I still experience dysphoria.

Disabled people still face so much discrimination in life and we must continue fighting for our rights and general equality.

Use those mobility aids.

Stim freely (as long as it doesn't hurt you or anybody else).

Use any accomodations you need.

Be unapologetically yourself.
