Yeah, obviously Trisha Paytas looks like a joke right now but so does the rest of the LGBT+ community. When we have someone claiming to be one of us but contradicting themselves, saying it's a choice, contradicting science and everything we as a community stand by, it completely resets everything we've fought for to get where we are in society today as compared to 19 years ago.

Yes, discrimination and violence is still common but a lot more people have become accepting or neutral of LGBT+ people as newer generations rise up.

But when people like Trisha say that theyre choosing to be transgender, identify as a gay man because they're attracted to their style and personality, and say that nonbinary isn't a valid gender, it makes all of us look stupid. It takes the "community" part out of LGBT+ community.
