i am also aware that most homestuck cosplay asks blogs are like. Dead. so ill try my hardest to be like them and answer questions and give tips. im here for the people

so obviously, there are some pros. you look a lot smoother, you dont need to paint your arms, and you can reuse them, saving money and materials! i also left my tights and fake nails on them, saving me a bunch of time in the morning!

But there are cons as well. i ordered mine my actual size, and id totally recommend sizing down if you want it to be skin tight. i had to sew the fingers to be form fitting, and it kind of didnt look the best, which i dont think theres any way to get around. also with the hands! you will get Grody! mine got stained almost immediately, and theres not really any good way to clean your hands. so youre just gonna have to deal with nasty germy fingers.... so handheld food are sort of Not Great...... i also came to the realization that typing was sort of impossible? which was also unfortunate since i had multiple people in my group who were trying to meet up with me! and i had to send voice messages, or spend a stupidly long time trying to type! you also. CANNOT go to the bathroom. unless you are willing to fully strip down in a public restroom, which i do not think anyone really wants to do
